The best hollandaise sauce in the world! I am very picky about hollandaise sauce and asked for it on the side so I can try it before its smothered in my food. It was very good, hearty and a yummy tang at the end and best of all not sweet! I've had some that were not to my taste. The fish cake benedict was perfect, not too salty and the english muffin on the bottom wasn't soggy or too toasty. The homefries were on another level, probably the best I've ever had. The boys loved their plates too, eggs benedict with corn beef hash. Adding to it was endless hot coffee that tasted very good. I'm usually a light sugar and cream girl but this coffee flavor was perfect for me without anything in it. And And And, the famous big coffee cake? 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌 I don't even like cinnamon rolls and I ate it. Definitely a shared item though it is parge! They make muffins too and it was good, cakey and moist! Very cute place and the staff, is on point and very kind, our waitress Amy was very pleasant and down to earth! Def try out this place!!!! Thank you Mom's Kitchen!

We loved this place so much, we’ve eaten there twice on our five nights stay and we’ll probably eat there one or two more times. It is right next to our hotel, which is super convenient. They have a lot of specialty items that are so delicious. I want to try it all. The mom’s special is my favorite so far but the fish cakes (although I didn’t love the traditional Boston style beans served with the fish cakes, I’m still glad I tried them) and biscuits and gravy were really good too. I love the seasoning they put on the potatoes and in the gravy. Everyone around us was raving about the coffee rolls. That might be our next thing we try. Their servers are great and very sweet. I love the adorable hand drawn portrait of “Mom" hanging up in the restaurant.

A little breakfast house at the end of Commercial Street. It is surrounded by much bigger buildings and parking lots. There is ample parking. There are a handful of tables inside and a few more are out front. Super nice staff that greeted everyone at the door and made you feel at home. We had pancakes, French toast and a bagel sandwich. Everything was good. Had to grab a coffee roll to go. (You definitely want one of these. No really. They make a limited number. So get there early) Moist, sweet and delicious. The 80's music added to the 'at home' vibe.

We (out-of -towners) came to Gloucester to see a sunrise on the beach. Sunrise was beautiful and early. By 6 am we were ready to eat breakfast together and that is how we happened upon Mom’s Kitchen. However; if I were to come back to this area of Massachusetts I would make sure to come back to Mom’s Kitchen. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the back story just brought me back to my childhood. I highly recommend checking this place out!

My husband and I came overnight to the Beauport Hotel for a wedding. We came here for breakfast early the next morning (it's right across the street from the hotel). Amy was our server and she was absolutely lovely. Super attentive and thoughtful. We ordered a homemade grilled coffee roll (drool) - best one I've ever had. We also ordered the homemade hash bowl which was fantastic. Friendly staff and great food. Highly recommend.

AMAZING!!! We arrived into town VERY early and enjoyed a perfectly cooked breakfast WITH the most perfectly kind hostesses in the world! The speed which she whips up this delicious meal is crazy and your coffee cup is magically full all the time. Thank you for such a great way to start our visit to your gorgeous town! Highly recommend the Eggs Benny Florentine.. YUM. Hubby had the fluffy omelet w fresh bakery toast.
