On two occasions the staff were so rude that me or my friends do not want to come back anymore. It's unfortunate because the espresso martins were so good

The first time I came, it was busy. We tried to bring a birthday cake in since it was one of our friend's birthdays. I can understand the establishment not wanting us to eat it, but the bartender refused to let us even walk in with the cake.

Once we got in, the bartenders were ignoring me whenever I made drink requests. At some point, someone at my table broken their glass. I went to the bartender to tell him we had a broken glass and needed some help. But the bartender shrugged and continued to make drinks. So I had to pick up the glass with my barehands then wipe down the table with napkins. When I went to show the bartender, he still shrugged and didn't care I was handling broken glass.

We still wanted to try the bar again. So we went this Sunday at 10pm. The bouncer said they were "no longer letting anyone in for the rest of the night" . . . but it closes at 1am. There were barely anyone in there and he said it...

0 stars if I could. Horrible introduction and service from the very beginning. Me and a friend walked in and 5 seconds later a man that worked there from the balcony shouted “what are you guys here for?.” We told him we were probably just grabbing some drinks. We got the vibe that he was just trying to kick us out from the very beginning.“MA state law says we can only let you in if you’re placing an order for food guys”. I respect that 100%, but we aren’t from around the area, and state law or not, he could’ve presented the rules in more customer friendly way. Everyone inside was clearly more “fancier”. We’re just normal tourists walking in with tanks and shorts. We both got an aggressive vibe from him like he was trying to keep us away from the beginning. Which is why we didn’t even bother giving them a chance and getting an app there and staying. Regardless of wether or not the food is good here, WOULD NOT recommend coming here for that reason. They clearly want to maintain an “image” there with their clientele. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE IN GLOUCESTER OTHER...

Good atmosphere. The guys at the entrance were pretty cool greeting us. We had a great time and great bartenders, and we didn't have to wait long for our drinks rounds after rounds, even though there were 13 of us. There were live performance, but we could barely hear the music or what they were playing from the far side of the room. And The only thing I found a little odd and off put was when an older lady went around with a bucket asking everyone to tip the band. I have been to many bars with bands playing, but never once did I encounter this. Doesn't the bar usually cover the band? I guess it might be different here because we didn't pay a cover charge?? 🤔 Overall, it's a great place to hang out. Good vibe, good food,...

AMAZING cocktails!! Got three very different style drinks and all were fantastic. Food was great also! Escargot portion was very generous. “Fig and pig” flatbread was delicious, as well as the shrimp spring rolls. We were traveling from out of state and staying in town for the night, and I immediately put Drift on our itinerary when I was looking for dinner options. I was not disappointed, and would definitely love to come back if we visit here again! It was a quiet Sunday night when we came, but we had such a great time sitting at the bar conversing with the bartenders and the other patrons. Would love to come back for one of their live music nights!

Came here on a Sunday afternoon with my husband. Super cute inside and the drinks and food did not disappoint. Our bartender Ryan was personable and super knowledgeable. I got an espresso martini and a cocktail made with mezcal; both were absolutely perfect. For lunch we got sushi as a starter, and for entrees we had the Scallop & pork belly and the Taste of Brazil entree. Both were absolutely delicious. Chef Thiago is amazing. Everything exceeded expectations. We will definitely be back.
