We waited for quite a while for the manager;I guess) to come in so she and the customer service girl could go to the safe to get cash. Manager left (four people in line wanting to order). Girl counted the money. Then she left again (maybe to put the extra cash in the back somewhere). Took our order. I went to get Arby sauce and catsup horsey. Dispensers were empty. Told an employee who had come out to get himself a soda they were empty. He did not acknowledge. I heard the girl yell out something but didn't hear what she said. I went to tell her about the dispensers and she said "I heard you tell him. They will be put in your tray when we bring your order". I thanked her and sat down chastised. They called our order, my husband went to get it. No sauce packets. They were not on the tray and they didn't bring it to us. I went back up to get them. Tables were dirty. An elderly lady came in about the 5 for $5 deal Ava the gal said "We don't know nothing about that. You have to do it yourself". Because I had stood there at the counter and ordered my 5 for $5 online, I ran up to help her do her order. Employees should really be trained how to use the app. They're young and learn quickly. We're old and not so quick. Service was slow. Customer service and friendliness not so good at this particular time we were in on June 12, 2024 at noon. However one slender black man with glasses was very running circles around everyone, running orders to the front. Clarifying orders ands apologizing. He should be rewarded. We're visitors but my sister goes often. Even she said this was worse...
Read moreI was in the Arby's located in Godfrey for lunch today. The store was very clean, the staff provided excellent service, I was not told I needed to order from a kiosk because we do not have enough staff. I witnessed the staff not only taking care of the lobby customers. They were taking care of the curbside customer's. In a time when it seems that everywhere you go you are told to order from a kiosk or sorry we are only serving Drive through customer's. It was very refreshing to receive not only service but above and beyond good service. I did ask for the manager to not file a complaint but to pay her and her staff a compliment. People are quick to post a complaint. I'm here to post a compliment. All Arby's may not he ran this efficiently. But it shows volumes the staff, manager and corporate what outstanding good service means in general and specifically to this customer.
