I’m sad to give a one star review because I love their food but we will never go back!! We’ve struggled with the atmosphere over the last two years because you never know if you can sit inside and eat, or if you have to eat your tacos awkwardly in your vehicle. This time, we ordered our meal online and then a friend wanted food from there too so we ordered their meal. They were the exact same meals. We show up and her meal is ready before ours although it’s the same meal and we ordered it 10 minutes later. We ended up waiting an hour and it still wasn’t ready. There was another person that walked in and ordered his meal and had to wait 45 minutes. We both asked for a refund because we were tired of waiting and we were told that the person at the register wasn’t capable of providing refunds. So we had to wait. In all, it took us over an hour to get our food! When I asked about our friend getting the exact same meal and hers being ready so much earlier than ours, we were given some vanilla response about “I don’t know why things are coming out like this.” we have had issues with them before, but we’ve always given them a wide berth because we love their food. Read moreOnly Santiago’s in Colorado that won’t make me breakfast burritos without egg. Can’t help that I have a food allergy and these people don’t seem to care. Place is filthy and usually is a long wait when lobby is empty. Eat somewhere that actually cares to earn your business instead of relying on the awesome reputation forged by the 20 plus other Santiago’s and then treating their customers like they don’t matter.

It’s wasn’t the fact that what I wanted would have cost an extra 2 bucks a burrito that upset me, it was the fact that your two employees refused to accept my order and take my money. I’ve been eating at Santiago’s for 10 years, I am a Colorado native, I love your food, but when your order takers tell me they can’t make my burrito because the cooks are too busy in the kitchen when there are literally two people in the lobby, I find that ridiculous. The staff is rude, not friendly and often ignoring people waiting to stand around talking badly about previously waited on customers or laughing amongst themselves. When we asked a question we weren't answered, but thrown a menu to look at. Restaurant was dirty, silverware unclean and the staff was disheveled and messy! We were seated at an unclean table and waitress just brushed the chips off the table into her hand, never bothering to wipe the table down! We were given our food, but waitress never came back to see if it was okay, never refilled drinks and we had to chase down our check and take plate up to counter to get to go box. The person taking cash was on the phone and did not appreciate being interrupted to take our payment or get us a to go box.
