I was very disappointed today when I went to subway. I have a service dog and been there multiple times before however today was something I never expected. When I entered the new manager insisted that my service dog leave the restaurant. I'm a disabled veteran I'm very much aware of what the law is for service dogs. Fact is a service dog is not required to wear a vest anywhere, I take my dog to the va in aurora colorado without a vest. This manager insisted that we leave, I tried to explain to him what the law actually states, he ignored me. He then told me that he was not going to serve me any food, at that point I became a little upset. I told him to call the cops because I was not leaving, but I did one better than that. I called the police, I know several officers in golden, within five minutes of calling the police they were there. They talked to the manager and told him it was against the law for him to do what he was trying to force me to do. I know the officer and she knows my dog. I will continue to go to this subway, but this manager was very rude, should not even be in that position. He is very uneducated and I believe he will get subway in some legal trouble soon. Read moreOver the course of the last few months I've visited this specific subway 4 times. All 4 times the ice machine has been inoperable/ out of service. This wouldn't be a huge deal 1. If I was warned ahead of time, 2. If it wasn't hot as balls outside, 3. If I didn't have to buy a drink to use my coupon, or 4. The guy working up front hadn't have been so rude when I asked about it. I simply said "is the ice machine not working sir, or do I need to wait for you to fill it". He got a little huffy about it and said "if it's clogged it's clogged I don't know what to tell you". I get it he's frustrated by the machine he's probably been dealing with it for a while since its been broken for freaking ever but he could've been more considerate of his customers.
