Tacos al Chile — Restaurant in Golden

I’m looking to giving this spot more of a go next time already. I’ve only tried the al pastor and chips and guac but the al pastor was good enough to get me to come back. Speaking of al pastor, this taco had a really nice flavor and not too dry. It may have been lacking some balance in sweet or citrus elements. However, I was pleasantly surprised to hear they have a hot salsa with some actual kick and they were right. I had to give it a go with the taco and it worked! The guac on the other hand had the same issue but nothing to help it out. Needed some citrus for sure as it was really just plain avacado. The salsa stuck around to help finish off the chips. Had the quesadilla, with pork. Pork was horrible, would not give it to my dog, and my stomach agreed. On top of that, it was a bit of meat, a few onions, almost no cheese. For a first visit it was pretty good. They had a green chicken posole special had to try it and was very impressed. Can't forget the gorditas great masa and fillings. A bit pricey but given the location its expected. Would have to try again for...
