Vanover Park — Attraction in Golden

We took a party of 10 to tube and had a great time. Water moves nice and quick and offers a handful of fun little rapids. Id definitely recommend taking the time to look up the entry and exit points and subsequent available parking to familiarize yourself and be prepared. Also...the only potential downside..there were a handful of cars/people that looked like they were casing individuals as they left their vehicles. One couple was pretty obvious as they would get out of their car and take a walk around after a new vehicle came in, parked, and left for the creek. Golden’s “Lil Central Park” a tiny park that connects the community and attracts many visitors. Great summer and winter events with live music and of course the Christmas Parade tree lighting point. Best location to start your stroll down Clear Creek Trail. Stroll the pedestrian bridge both ways and learn some history of Golden. Enjoy the art sculptures in the park and surrounding area. Good place for a picnic or an escape from the summer heat. Shopping and food options nearby or for entertainment visit the heritage park, fish or go tubing...

Cute little park right across the street from The Mill in Golden. Good place to have a picnic. There are several tables for sitting to eat and a couple of benches right next to the creek where you can do some duck watching. There were 2 families of baby ducks when we were there, super cute! The larger ducks will come directly up to you looking for food so I'm sure people regularly feed them. There is no playground area at this park so it's more for teens or adults unless your little ones are fine without swinging and climbing. Enjoyed...
