Brick's Woodfired Pizza Co. — Restaurant in Goldsboro

Visited my Daughter stationed @ S-MJAFB the week before Thanksgiving, I stopped downtown for some eats. This place stood out as I slowly drove by, decided to try. Amazing pizza and ingredients, lady working it was knowledgeable about owners (name of business derived from husband and owners names) and business (sadly forgot her name). I grew up in NYC in my youth so pizza places were a staple and you knew the differences. I live in Mississippi since my military days, we have a pizza placed called Brooklyn Pizzeria in Gulfport, best on the coast ! Well, to my surprise this place, Bricks Woodfire Pizza, is simply Outstanding pizza!!! It is not a NYC style but the texture of dough, sauces, ingredients were all outstanding! I’m a big fan of “Mom & Pop” (family run) businesses and the reason is much care, love, quality, and determination is put into the preparation and cooking that makes the restaurant stand out. Unlike the “chain eateries.” Anyway, I definitely recommend this place to all. A local gem in Goldsboro. To the owners and workers, much success and the Lord bless! I will visit again in the future. Thank you for quality!!! Btw I got two pies: the Hawaiian and the Buffalo Ranch spicy honey. My daughter and her husband were also highly impressed (“it’s delicious!!”) that they will be going there...

First had their pizza when they were a food truck only (now no longer), and the owner, Nick, informed us they were opening a store. They are store only. Also noted that they are a carry out only too. But there are two small tables out front as well as plenty of picnic tables a few yards away on Center Street. We did the latter.

Per the name, these are wood-fired. Expect the airy type crust with a slight char. All pizzas are 11 inches.

Friday is buy three get one free night. We did that. We got P. S. I Love You, Feinally Enough Pepperoni, The Brick, and Chicken Bacon Ranch. We liked them all. I especially like their homemade sauce.

Pizzas were done in about 20 minutes, and they have a text thing that let's you know when they are ready. We did a walk-up order, but you can order online. They were busy, but they were efficient handling the demand. Good job.

If you're in Goldsboro for a short time or a long time, one thing is for sure... Brick's Woodfired Pizza is a must stop! There's a reason why they set up shop after being truck only, it's because the people of Goldsboro voted with their appetites and told them to settle in and stay in one place!

Every single option on their menu is perfection and my former waist line is a testament to that. I'll never settle for a lesser pizza as long as I live here.
