I have eaten here many times and tonight will be the last time. I felt so disrespected and like I was invisible when I was standing right in front of 3 of the staff members. I only ordered a small pizza and I called it in for me to pick up. When I arrived, I stood at the bar because the sign states please wait to be seated. As I stood there waiting for someone to assist me there was an employee standing about 2 feet away from me talking, 1 was behind the bar on her phone and another had come out of the back and walked right past me.i stood there for about 5 minutes and still nothing so I sat down at the end of the bar to wait for assistance. 2 other employees proceed to just walk right past me to another table and we're the same employees that saw me walk in. It was not until I actually had to yell to get someone's attention and then the employee that was just standing there talking decided that she would finally assist me. I told her my order and she proceeded to go get it. It took them another 5 minutes to bring it out so I paid asked for my change and left to find out once I got to my car that they did not even give me all of my change. From the time I walked in until the time I walked out they dismissed me like I was not even there and it wasn't even busy because when I came in the employees weren't doing anything at all. I used to love this place but they will never get my money ever again. You don't treat people like that regardless of their racial background especially in a customer service setting. And I know it had something to do with my race because everyone else was caucasian and they deliberately just kept looking right over me to help everyone else. There was even a caucasian man that came in after me and they greeted him and got right to assisting him while I was sitting right there! Just rude, disrespectful and...
Read moreWe used to go to UP North quite frequently in their old location. We loved the staff and live music. It was always bustling and food was good. Was hesitant about the move across the street because it just wasn’t the same atmosphere. They had just reopened and were working out the kinks. We figured we’d let them get into a routine and try it again after a couple months. We went on a Friday evening, walked in and was never greeted with a hello or welcome or sit where you like. We sat at one of the tall tables by the bar - again no one acknowledged us. We were the only ones other than a guy sitting at the bar and a couple in the other room. (Again a Friday evening that was always full when at old location). After about 5 minutes the lady from the other room came to get her own menu. The girls stood behind the bar just talking. We waited another 5 minutes and finally left and never heard a word as we walked out. We swore we would never go back, but decided to give them another try again tonight after a few months. Again, a Friday evening. The place was empty. There was live music and he was great! He was the only thing great about the place. Two other couples came in while we were there. Pretty sad for a Friday. The staff sat at the back table eating their own food and playing on their phones in between ordering and delivering. The quality of food went down greatly since the old location. The staff have no personality. I wouldn’t...
Read moreHorrible, never again! Went in there to eat before we took the babies treat or treating, we went to the tall table right beside the bar. There was 2 chairs on one side and 3 chairs on the other. Went to go put another chair and the manager Tori hollers across the whole restaurant and said “you can not move that chair it’s a fire hazard. We explain there is 3 chairs on one side of the table and 2 chairs on the other. Anyways, we still sit down and eat, while we were half way eating, Tori the manager goes to the end of the bar where our table is, digs in her pocket book and starts putting on deodorant and says I’m sorry, I have to refreshing, you guys are in my office. There was Halloween candy at a small table when you walk in, and some younger child comes in, you know what all kids do, grab a hand full of candy, Tori hollers and says just get a piece of candy, and then talks the whole bucket in the back for no one else to get candy, while rolling her eyes and making smart remarks. Other customers come in and she proceeds to tell them, they are not taking tables due to passing out Halloween candy???? This was an older guy with 3 small children that were hungry. Our waitress was super nice, and you could tell she was just trying...
