Federico's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Goodyear

Food is great, BUT the only reason I dislike coming to THIS particular location is their portion sizes make the prices completely RIDICULOUS. The location in Buckeye, I was so full I couldn't even finish my burrito. Here, it looked like a kids' burrito.

Hours. Every location I go to is completely 24 hours. Which is perfect for me bc I work overnight and EVERYTHING is closed by my lunch time & end of my shift. This location... no. It has a BIG sign saying 24 hours, but almost every morning, the lights are off, and there's no one there. Like today, it says it'll be open at 6 am. It is currently 5:50 a.m., and I don't see a single person inside prepping anything, so I know they aren't gonna open at 6 am. The ONLY reason I keep coming to this one is because it's literally like a 5-minute WALK from my house. I sometimes just drive down to Cotton Lane and go to that location instead.

Ordered carne asada fries and asked for the meat and fries extra crispy… also ordered a carne asada burrito with no pico. Got home and opened the food, the fries and meat looked barely cooked. The meat was so fatty so it was chewy, complete opposite of crispy. This has happened at this location before. Then, I took a bite of the burrito and it had pico in it. I can’t eat tomatoes so I gave it to my boyfriend. He almost finished it and then bit into something that looked to be like paper and then something crunchy. At that point, we just threw away the burrito. I called and and a gentleman by the name of Christian answered. He is the one who took my order and most likely prepared my food, I recognized his voice. I explained the situation and they offered a credit for me to come back and claim but I don’t even want to go back. They don’t seem to listen to you when you ask for things. We were really happy to see a taco shop going so close to our house and we really tried to like it but have struggled. We don't seem to get the same thing twice when we order. We can order the same burrito different days and have different ingredients in it. The refried beans which are normally my favorite at a Mexican restaurant have no flavor. The hot sauce is basically colored spicy water with no flavor and runs right out the other side of my food. The prices are just out of line when you can eat at a sit-down restaurant for less just down the street and have more flavor and chips and salsa to boot. If you go on their special days then maybe you can justify it because the prices are more affordable. There are so many taco shops in the area that having just eh food at expensive prices isn't going to fly. The people are usually really nice but for the price, I will drive further down the street for best...
