My girlfriend and I went to this location near around its grand opening, around November/December 2022, and while we don't go often I will never forget our first experience there. It was before there was an actual menu and only a QR code, (thank god they got an actual menu at some point after, QR codes are such a pain) so when we came in through the drive thru the barista asked if we had ever been to a Bikini Beans before. We said no, and what happened next is etched into my and my girlfriend's brains for the rest of our lives.
The barista leaned away from the car, turned into the kitchen area and shouted melodically: "Looks like we have ourselves some first time Beaners!" My girlfriend and I exchanged looks after processing what the barista said, while the rest of the barista's inside started whooping, clapping, and cheering, and someone inside started ringing a cowbell in celebration. I am not exaggerating.
It was so surreal and we cherish this memory, and we LOVE sharing with our friends about the time a coffee place called us first time Beaners then celebrated wildly.

Read moreI am deeply disturbed by the actions of the manager who shared the video of Mr. Malone. Sharing such a personal and sensitive video on social media was not only completely inappropriate, but it also constitutes a form of cyberbullying. Given the serious nature of the situation, the only appropriate party to handle this video should have been law enforcement, not an individual who decided to upload it for public consumption.
This behavior is unacceptable, and it demonstrates a concerning lack of professional maturity and judgment from the manager involved. The tragic outcome, with Mr. Malone taking his own life, highlights the grave consequences that can arise from such reckless actions. I strongly believe that accountability must be pursued, and hope that Mr. Malone’s family seeks legal recourse against both the company and the individual responsible for disseminating the video.
This incident serves as a critical reminder that we must maintain the highest standards of professionalism, empathy, and respect for others, especially in such...
Read moreThis summer, I’m on a mission to try every local coffee chain around. Just looking for my new favorite while soft boycotting the green siren lady chain.
This was… an interesting experience, honestly. I’m not sure how to feel about it. The vibes are kinda weird, feels like Hooters serving coffee, and the ethics of the business operations and management might be sus. As long as everyone is treated well I guess. I hope management stands behind their staff in the event any creep pulls up! Seems like the kinda joint a creep would frequent.
That being said, my first drink was really tasty, definitely well made. The product holds up. I’d like to try more.
I am however hella gay and the flirty nature the baristas are encouraged to do for customers hit me weird. Nothing against them, it was kinda funny to me, my brain just doesn’t process it like a hetero customer would.
I had a blended grasshopper and will have to try their straight black coffee next time, to get an idea of how their roast is.
Maybe I’ll also carry my Pride bag so...
