I ordered food through the drive thru on 7/14. Paid for my food which was $10.25. My card was not handed back to me and I inevitably left it. I didn’t realize my card was missing until the next day. As I looked at my authorized transactions I realized they had swiped my card again for $11 the previous day. To which I didn’t authorize. I froze my card and got a new one. While my card was frozen, another transaction was attempted for $32. Because my card was cancelled the transaction declined. I went to retrieve my card and they still had it. The explanation I was given was that they cant cancel POS transactions on their computers without running a card first. I found that explanation to be unreal. Never have I heard of a merchant unable to void a transaction without a card being swiped for a purchase . The service worker apologized but had a stack of cards that had also been left behind and she explained that it’s a common practice they do. Swiping left behind cards for food purchases/cancelations. This seems more like fraudulent transactions than an actual policy and procedure. I dont think they should be able to swipe cards for non authorized transactions from the card owner. I felt compelled to write not because of the amount of money that is easy disputable by my financial institution but it’s the integrity of their employees that should be evaluated. Where a left behind card should just simply be shredded rather than attempting more...
Read moreThey were supposed to open at 7am. We banged on the door and a woman came and looked then went back w/o opening up. In desperation we drove to the drive thru and asked them to open the door. She did not answer but we saw a woman go to the door inside. By now its 7:15. She relocks the door after letting me in! I used the rest room and asked if I could order. She said they weren't ready. I said you do open at 7am? She was like. "Um , sure, yeah" how un-professional is that! So I place my order and she says they dont participate in taco Tuesday they are NOT PART OF THE FRANCHISE!! She also would not redeem my app offers. So I asked for the phone number of the store. She told me she doesn't know it and to Google it!! Omg really? I asked for the managers name and she refused to give it, however told me someone in charge is available in the afternoons.
I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE WHO IS FAMILIAR WITH THE GREAT BARGAINS AND GOOD FOOD and GOOD SERVICE NORMALLY ASSOCIATED WITH DEL TACO. PLEASE CHOOSE ONE THAT IS PART OF THE FRANCHISE. CROSS PEBBLE CREEK DEL TACO OFF YOUR LIST!
my family has been going to the Del Taco on grand ave in surprise twice a week for over 20 years. And never ever have I been treated so rudely. I went out of my way to go to this del taco on pebble creek because it was close to the...
Read moreMan I don't know the girl who's working your drive thru today at 4:30 pm May 20th, but you should either put her somewhere away from public or give her an attitude adjustment. She was the rudest person I have ever came across. The second I went to order in a empty drive line she said what do you want? What else? Is that it? Um no how about are you having a bad day or what? Didn't let me know how much I owed and when I got or the window she blurted the amount with her hand already out. From there she practically flung my drink at me, and when I asked for red sauce she first said they didn't have any with massive a attitude and then said well we have to charge you for it. OK charge me for it, but isn't that something that you should specify and ask your customers before they buy and pay for their food? Who wants to eat Mexican food with no salsa or hot sauce, kind of common sense. I thought my food was OK but man that really rubbed me the wrong way and not sure I'll ever step foot or drive-through there again. The vibe was definitely at a zero if you're unsure of my review so far which is a bummer because I really liked...
