My family and I really like Popeyes however, this particular location continues to bring us problems.
A great deal of times the lobby is not open and when I've inquired about whythe lobby isn't open, I've been told it's due to them not having enough staff. When this happens, the line is wrapped around the building and at times, will spill out into pebble Creek parkway. The construction of the building makes it so it gets congested and the traffic through the restaurant is terrible.
The staff in 2021...I have encountered some of the nicest people I've met in fast food and some of the down right rudest individuals in fast food, all at this location...
My orders have very rarely been correct, we always leave with something missing, incorrect, or more of "X" and none of "Y" as a substitute without telling us. As I mentioned, the family enjoys it so we typically have over $60+ worth of food and different menu items. Asking for simple condiments will get you the side eye and forget getting any condiments that you've made on your mobile order.
Now, the reason I gave it to stars is because no matter what, we have enjoyed hot food and I have yet to experience old fries, sitting potatoes, dry chicken, etc...
I would eat here more often however, I've been let down too many times and we live too far away for the shenanigans.
----Update 17FEB2022----
Since leaving the last review I have eaten there twice since and both times I have been pleasantly surprised with the new staff which is clearly under New Management.
We should also keep in mind that this is being written through (current) covid protocols.
The staff is a very young group of diverse kids who must have been completely trained differently from the last bunch of kids who worked there when I wrote the last review.
Both times that I've eaten there since the past review both my orders have been correct, the food has been hot, the food has been cooked properly, drinks have been the correct drinks and all condiments and plasticware were given without having to ask.
I will definitely go back to this location as they have earned my...
Read moreThis visit was ridiculous from start to finish. I went to the drive thru around 1:30 in the afternoon. They were busy, but not slammed...anyway there were two cars ahead of me that took forever to order. I soon figured out why when it was my turn to order. I sat there for several minutes before anyone acknowledged me to take my order. I asked if the surf and turf box was available yet and the cashier rudely just said "no". Okay, so I order a 2 piece chicken strip with small order of popcorn shrimp on the side. She asks my drink and side. I tell her and she says "okay it'll be $7.99". I get to the window and the cashier says "$8.26. And you had a coke, right?" First of all I knew there was a discrepancy in the total but I figured it was just the tax. I gave her my card and told her I ordered a tea. She had my card for a long time and I asked what was going on, she said their machine was not responding. She seemed flustered. She then handed me my bag of food but still had my card. I looked in the bag and noticed the side I ordered was incorrect so I told her I had asked for red beans and rice. She snatched the bag back, went and threw the red beans in the bag and handed it back to me. When she finally gave me my card and receipt it showed I was charged $10.14. The manager came to the window and I asked what the deal was and they said that was the amount for my order. I explained I had already been told two different amounts and all they could do was shake their head and tell me that's the cost of what I ordered. 🤔 I asked if the sauces I requested were in the bag because I didn't see them and the cashier yelled at me saying "they're in there!" as she walked away from the window while I was still there. I told her there was no need for the attitude and drove off. I didn't get a biscuit with my order. 😕 This location is clearly lacking in customer service, time management and problem resolution. Three of the most important things in the...
Read moreOK so my husband and I just started trying out Popeyes maybe about a month in half ago because a co-worker bought my husband one of their chicken sandwich meals and he loved it. Well I'm very sorry to say that it has been not the same experience since we have started eating here. I'm NOT EXAGGERATING WHATSOEVER when I say Every Single Time We Either Dine In...Order Delivery ( which is the worst option)...or Order Through The App and Hubby Goes To Pick Up somethings usually multiple items are missing...the food is incorrect...or the food is not the correct amount ect. Today finally topped it off when Mary the manager who works mostly near the front counter was Completely Out Of Line when she was totally rude to my husband who I had sent to go pick up our mobile order. And when I called the store after he got back home and told me the whole ordeal I asked to speak to a manager she said she was the manager and I begin to tell her what happened she interrupted me and said "let me tell you what happened" and I said " I just want the person's name working at the front counter right now and the lady wasn't answering me and I asked was it you were you working the front counter and she quickly said no that it was a lady named Mary. My husband had been listening in on the call and looked at me and said that is her that's the lady who was rude to me. Then I said "hey my husband recognizes your voice are you Mary and the manager and she finally said Yes I am!! I just got so angry I said your the manager and your lying about taking responsibility of this situation I'm reporting you to the corporate level and I did report her today to Popeyes...
