Garden Pizza — Restaurant in Goodyear

Racist! This establishment is owned by racist! I have been a customer for about 3 years and would go about 1-2 twice a week or every other week and my family as well. As I walk in with a PR hat to support the WBC games today and wanted to order Pizza to share with family. I realized that now I am treated differently. I order a large specialty pie and a dozen wings. After I waited the 30 mins for the pizza was ready and I did pay prior, I asked for 12 paper plates. The hostess informed the owner/manager in their language that I asked for 12 plates. The owner/manager went on a rant and told me why not 8 paper plates, that I should only get 8, then says that they don't give paper plates to customers because they don't make money on giving paper plates, then he told me on how to serve food with 8 plates. I asked him, are we really talking about paper plates? He said, since he doesn't make money on giving away paper plates that he can charge me $5 and he would give me all the paper plates that I want. Seriously? Plus there was a lot of families eating, it was embarrassing and degrading to have such a topic of conversation. Never have I had a conversation about this and never have I encountered such things! There is a lesson in this engagement, I learned about their true colors and if this is their way of thinking about me a constant returning customer imagen what they think of you! It's petty of them! I went online as a first time customer Sunday May 2, 2021 at 3:45PM and placed a to go order the Garden Square Pizza ($23.95) and added extra pepperoni ($1.95) and extra olives ($1.95). The pizza should come standard with: Pepperoni, sausage, onion, mushroom, green pepper, and extra cheese. I also ordered Appetizer of onion rings ($5.50) and side of small Caesar salad ($4.50). I tipped 20% as I placed the online order which is my standard tip. The total bill was over %50 including tip.

The pizza came with no sausage, no onion, no mushroom and no green pepper. You can judge from the picture as to whether I got "extra cheese" that was to come standard with the pizza. I absolutely did not get "extra pepperoni that I paid an extra $1.95 for. Yes, somehow I did get the "extra olives" that I paid &1.95 for...(only plus coming from this review).

When I arrived at the restaurant at 4:20PM, I observed the following: No customers there inside or outside. Entry door was absolutely filthy around the door handles inside and out. Hadn't been cleaned all day. Tables inside were (as stated above) empty of customers, nobody dining in whatsoever. No Covid-19 precautionary measures whatsoever in place. No signs, no sanitizers, NO MASKS ON THE EMPLOYEES THAT WERE PREPARING FOOD AND/OR DEALING WITH CUSTOMERS.

MY REVIEW: AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. FOOD NOT AS ORDERED, RTESTAURANT FILTHY, NO COVID PROTOCALLS. THIS PLACE SHOUKLD...

So the pizza wasn't horrible it was just bland especially for the price. From what I ordered and paid I could have been at Grimaldi's which I would give 6 stars if Google would let me.

We sat outside which looked almost like a storage area, piles or chairs and table in the corner. Table was super dirty and everything was out of place.

Pizza and wings came out in a timely manner, again nothing special about it. Friend zucchini was burnt which was disappointing.

We ended up moving inside the building because the baby was starting to sweat outside. Finding a table was easy because there where only a few tables that wherent covered with food that people left behind. No one was cleaning up after guests had left because everyone was on their phones texting... Or maybe rating this place with 5 stars when clearly it's not.

We have been eating at the Sushi place accross the street for the last 5 years wondering what garden pizza was...
