Tonight I had a bad experience at KFC. I drove into the drive through lane and I heard the customer in front of me trying to get his order in and becoming frustrated. I decided to keep it simple and order a number 9. I have never ordered this before but its a chicken sandwich and 4 nuggets. My unsweet tea was not available so I switched to Pepsi. I get up to the drive up window and the young lady processes my debit card and then says its going to be 10 minutes for the chicken nuggets. I told her, don't worry about it. Don't give me the nuggets just give me my sandwich, I don't want to wait that long. I thought that my sandwich was ready.....silly me! Guess what? instead of giving me my sandwich minus the nuggets the young lady asked me to drive up to the front and park. I simply asked her.....How long is this going to take? she closed the window and walked away. I then saw her walk up to a car in the parking lot as if she is taking a break. another man comes over to me 9 minutes later and says. Here is your order, sorry for the wait. Are there chicken nuggets in here? He replied you said you didn't want them. I told him, I said I didn't want them just give me the sandwich I have to go but you still made me wait. A different man came out and said the nuggets would take a while would I like a substitute, he gave me a donut looking cake and I left. I don't know what's going on here but the man in front of me was also unhappy with his transaction. Read moreWhere do I begin….. This was the 3rd time I’ve given this place a chance and the last time I go to this location. Every time I go they are always out of something, either potatoes, macaroni, tea or Pepsi or something. Then every time I go I have to double check my order in the drive thru lane because I suspect it’s incorrect and it’s always incorrect so I have go inside and there’s always chairs up on the tables and trash over flowing the cans just sitting in the lobby waiting to be taken out. I guess they only take out trash once a day. Today I went and my food was greasy, over cooked, just plain sad looking and they were out of potatoes. I asked if they were out or they just didn't make any and of course they said they aren’t making anymore. It was 8 30 pm and they don’t close until 10pm. I spent $50.00 in this place and what I received was gross food, poor service and they all had some sort of attitude like they just hated that place. No one made them work there. I won’t be going back to that dive again. I wanted to talk to who looked like the manager but she was on the phone talking to someone about their messed up order. Where’s the quality? Or customer service? If you want KFC I suggest you use the location on Watson. Much better quality and service. It was just a sad representation of KFC. I've never been in a restaurant where there is no line inside or in the drive-thru, and yet it still takes 45 minutes to get my order. The restaurant is consistently not busy compared to every other restaurant around it. If it wasn't for how poorly the store is run, it would be taking in cash hand over fist.
It would be different if this were a one time thing, but every single time I come into this store they are out of something. Usually a couple of sides, sometimes it's chicken, but always something. The substitute order I place instead still takes 45 minutes just to come out cold.
I enjoy eating at KFC, but I'm not going to spend money to wait an hour, not get what I wanted, and still have the food be cold. I am praying somebody at corporate sees this and launches an investigation as to what's going on with this location.
The Franchise owner clearly doesn't care. I'm guessing they don't live anywhere near this store, or at the very least walk inside to check if it's functioning properly.
