Today, i finally made a trip with my bf to one of America's best young adults beer and chicken wings point! This is a national chain, so if you like BBQ sauce or chicken wings, you should try this place out. It also has decent prices and variety on alcohol. Since this review is on the Elkhart branch, I ll review this one here. Now, off the bat... If you are a vegetarian, your options are a Southwestern black bean burger, Caesar and garden salad and a few appetizers. Ofcourse I was hungry, so I tried the burger.it was mid way that I realized I hadn't taken a photograph, so along with this review you ll see half eaten burger (apologies if you don't like it ), the other side 'pretty picture' ) and the state of the table we were shown to sit. I'd give burger a 3.5, meaning i can return to have the same burger again. So not disappointing. The service was good when we sat however, where we were made to sit, I would have made an uproar about it if my bf wasn't infront of me. And I didn't see the crumbs and bits of leftover food from previous diners all over, under our table until the person had left us. It felt like we were sitting in the middle of trash.... Because of this is give service a 1. Lastly, ambience is ok if you keep your eyes above at all the tv screens lined across the rooms. And no volume means you can socialize freely. Unfortunately the little trashy setting did affect our moods and I can only give a 2 star. My bf had the small chicken wings with celery, and I believe he liked it. Overall, try at your own risk. Today was the Superbowl finals, and we were there for lunch. I don't know if service was affected by the sports event. Generally there is waiting around peak hours. But, I believe they try to accommodate everyone. Plenty of parking outside, so no worries. I believe they give tablets for kids to enjoy so that'll keep them busy. Since there were plenty of TV's, I didn't check for wifi. Restrooms were clean and they also have some motorcycle video game towards the restrooms. If anyone would like to give it a try....
Read moreI am a long time fan of BWWs, but my last visit was a scary one! I was sitting with my friend late in the evening enjoying a delicious meal, when 4 drunk men started banging loudly on the glass between us and the bar. We tried to get ready and leave when they approached and pushed us to the side against the wall, joining our party uninvited and unwelcome pushing and touching us when neither one of us wanted them to sit with us or touch us. The 4 menacing drunks trapped us in the booth against the wall and wouldn’t let us leave. We tried multiple times to let the server know we wanted to leave and I literally said to her, “Can you help us get out of this situation?” It was very scary being harassed by these men who were belligerent and drunk with no way to escape. Finally I convinced one to get up so I could pee and got my friend to go with me, after which we did NoT sit back down but we were still afraid they would follow us to the car if we went outside. Finally we got the check paid and literally ran for our lives as soon as we had an opportunity where it seemed like they would not follow. It is extremely unfair that women have to deal with situations like this and when I called to speak with someone at BWWs about my experience they basically just said they would talk to management about the issue if “we felt uncomfortable”. We were 2 young women being menaced and harassed by 4 drunk men twice our size and nobody working there was able to help us escape. If you are an establishment over serving alcohol to drunks, you need a plan in place for when these drunks cannot control themselves and are harassing other customers. In the future, I will choose and encourage my family and friends to choose locations where we either don’t feel threatened OR we know the business actually has a plan in place to deal with their own belligerent customers who are disturbing others and harassing me and my friends! It shouldn’t be my responsibility to call police just to feel safe enough to leave...
Read moreAlright, so I'm no longer going to eat here or order food here. I like the food, but they only serve pepsi products which I despise drinking pepsi, so that means I'll no longer eat in house. I figured that I'd just order the food and pick it up instead. When I called in, the person who answered couldn't answer my questions about the amount of food in some of the orders (their website omits this information too), and barely managed to keep my order straight. When I got there to pick up the order, it wasn't quite ready yet, so I paid and sat down to wait. And wait. And wait. Meanwhile several other people picked up their order, including one who must have been a friend, because a group of employees gathered to talk to him for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile no one has checked in with me or let me know about the order. I watched the girl who took my order leave for the day, again walking past me with no follow up. A few minutes later, someone finally noticed that I was still sitting there and asked if I was waiting for someone. I told them I was waiting for my food, gave them my name. They glanced over and saw the food that had apparently been sitting there for a while growing cold. I will not go back there to eat, and I strongly recommend avoiding...
