My wife is a big fan of Chipotle me not so much. This being said I decided to take her to eat there on Saturday 1/21/23. Being former restaurant owners we were shocked by the condition of the place. Being new this place is in need for some serious help. Upon making our way to the counter I noticed that not only did almost every place to set and eat was in need of being cleaned, the floor below was covered with food particles. When we started to order I noticed that it had quite some time that anyone had taken a second to clean the prep area between the containers. As we got to the register area to pay I noticed that no one had made any effort to clean this area as well. When our order was complete the young man placed it on a tray and slid it through the mess of guacamole lettuce and everything else. The self service area was not any better than the rest of the place. Ice was overflowing to the floor, there were no napkins, the counter area was covered with filth as well as the floors. The trash was overflowing, stacked on top and on the floor in front of the container. While we did stay to eat I observed one employee wipe at the counter around the the cash register unsuccessfully removing the mess. My only regret is that I did not take pictures. Being that there were only 8 or 9 customers in the place and a few carry out customers, there appeared to be enough help that even if they had a busy spurt before we arrived no place should be in that...
Read moreLast night I came into the store. It was very busy, waited about 15-20 mins in line… but I get that. However upon finally being waited on, I get asked what type of meat did I want and I POINTED to a portion of steak AVAILABLE and requested it. The crew member tells me okay and AS HES ABOUT TO SCOOP, the manager on the salsa side STOPS HIM and picks up the pan and throws it own the back table. She says “I can’t serve you that” I’m sorry????? I ask why, she looks at the CO WORKER and says “I need this for DML”. I tell her I am a customer that has been waiting and paying just like the other customer that isn’t right. She just looks at me (knowing this was an issue for me) and says “sorry but I can’t give it to you we are out”. It was a busy night so I know that one portion wasn’t saving anything so why refuse giving it to me when it was an option?? It’s not my fault you can’t run the shift successfully and not be out of food! I would have even waited but I guess they just called it quits on steak almost an hour prior to close because that was not even an option. ‘DML’ should not be priority over other paying customers. That was the rudest chipotle encounter I have ever had. Walked out never...
Read moreChipotle as a name is good food. This location needs guidance/ effectively trained employees under a manager that takes customer service serious (it's what drives a business to success), pays attention to detail from front line, food prep (quality control), in person, online, take out. We have had THREE experiences, in which not 1 item was made correctly or completely omitting ingredients. If you don't have ingredients make it NOT AVAILABLE on the app, the person in charge of food pay attention to details of the order, when adding meat make sure it's meat and not throwing the fat in it and calling it a pork Burrito. If the volume of orders is too high with the limited employees available, then choose to make it drive thru only, or dine in only or only mobile orders. I much rather get a quality product, with great customer service in a clean environment than serve people with a million different ordering options. If you can't keep up, choose a method for ordering. Chipotle is a great option for our town, but something needs to change and someone needs to take it serious, shift /store/district manager? Good...
