The Winery at Aerie's Resort — Restaurant in Grafton

Sharing a frustration: We took a family of six from out of town with intension of giving them a great visit. Came in, male manager greeted us. We said there will be six of us. It was passed lunch hour rush. He said they cannot sit us together in one table since they cant put 2 tables together. We understood. We sat on a separate table as family. It's okay. Our wait staff came and hasnt greeted us right aways said "it's going to be a while" sat our waters down and left. He came back a min later to see if we are ready to order. Our 80 years old parents hasnt decided yet. But we ordered drinks. I ordererd wine for myself. Still waiter did not introduce himself. We sat and waited for 10 mins. He was waiting on other folks by the deck so it's fine. The other half of our family next table had a different wait staff. Within that 10min window my sis in law, got her glass of wine. I didnt. There was a big table next to us, left, the female manager cleaned the table, sat a family of six, got their bottle of wine, drinks and have ordered taken, our waiter still MIA. Our family sitting nxt table got their food, our waiter still MIA. We told them to go ahead eat their food before it gets cold. At this point my wine hasnt showed up yet so is our waiter. So i got up to the bar already upset and ordered my wine. I saw my glass of wine sitting by the bar. The bar tender asked me what's my order, when I told him he just grabbed that glass sitting on the bar & handed it to me. The male & female manager sat on the bar saw how frustrated I was, asked who was our waiter that happened to be standing next to me getting drinks for other table. Did not acknowledge or even apologized but went ahead waited on the new tables that came way later than us. The female manager went to our table since we were complaining already 30 mins later. Instead of politely apologizing she instead said that's why we put a "sign outside to be patient" She came to us not even apologizing but instead made us feel we do not deserved to be waited on. Finallt waiter came and took our order. We were hungry already but we went ahead & order anyway. 30 mins passed our food still not done. She then told us your order had been put in 21 mins ago! Well, its because your waiter Ms. Manager did not took our order. Instead of apologizing for the delay, she made another excuse! To us, the point is it's not about the time! You should have asked your staff why he did not take our order that we came way ahead! We deserve to be treated like all paying costumers! It would have been fine if she sincerely apologize for the inconvenience instead she made us feel like it was our fault because we have to wait very long and we have the nerve to complained about why other tables that came before us got their food and drinks we didnt! They punished us more when the food showed up finally but have to return the burger because the meat was raw and bloody! What an incompetent people! Bad service! Excuse after another but doest not even apologize for nothing because she feel like we dont deserve it! Shame to this business! So disappointed! If I can only opt for negative...

On this past Saturday, we decided to visit this winery for my friend’s birthday. When we arrived we were greeted by a lady who then told my friend to shut up and let her continue to explain how this winery is ran. We decided to sit outside, it took about 10 mins for someone to greet us and take down our order. Even though a couple sat down after us was greeted first. I know for sure we order our food at around 6:00pm. They arrived with the salads about 15 mins later. I asked nicely for extra dressing and the waiter never brought it out. She kept walking past me rolling her eyes. So I would say around 6:40pm our waitress came out to ask how is everything, we were confused because we didn’t have anything. She then said “oh, they are putting it on the grill now…” then said “oh, I meant it should only take a couple more minutes”. At 7:00, she came back to say “i just checked on it, just a few more minutes”. At 7:15, she said “just a few more minutes”. That that time we decided that we would just pay for the wine & not won’t the food. She said “well…if they are plating it now, do you all want it”. We said no because we’ve been waiting over an hour for our food and it wasn’t even busy. She said with an attitude “I just checked, it’s only been 44 minutes”. We started walking out after paying for the wine and the First Lady purposely made it her duty to walk all the way to the sky ride to say “Thank you ladies” sarcastically! We felt like we were being mocked for coming. We aren’t welcomed at all. Will not come...
