RUDENESS at it's finest. HORRIBLE CLOSING MANAGER who doesn't know what customer service is....
First off let me say that I planned on giving this establishment a 4.5 star BUT after the service I received I am re rating to a 1
Arrived at 8:23pm establishment had one set of doors closed on right side of building stating to use door on opposite side and stating that drive thru closes at 9pm
We were greeted by a very friendly young lady who placed our order efficiently, politely and even went out of her way to make sweet tea for us ( yes over 30 minutes before closing and already put away for the night ) . Told us she would bring food to our table and again apologized for the sweet tea delay...no prob. Good service. Food arrives approx 10 mins later.. is good quality with large portions.... Again review looking great...TILL....
1 minute to 9pm the closing older male ( I won't even call him a "gentlemen" as he doesn't deserve that term) comes out yells over to us "we're closing in 1 minute are you through eating cause I'm locking the door in 1minute and you need to go"... EXCUSE ME ????? Am I wrong to assume you don't understand that I pay for your employment and your establishment and that there is a better way to suggest to your customer that you're closing.... After 1 min he returns...locks the door then comes to our table and takes and starts clearing our plates. ...excuse me again....shouldn't you have asked if you could help clear our plates since one of us us still eating the last of their meal...
As we're leaving a car pulls into drive thru, we get to hear him berate a customer and then walk inside and say" f*ing people they need to stop coming here so I can go home...."
Don't worry we are going home and so is your drive thru customer ... Oh and don't worry because as a visitor to your area from out of town not only will I now NOT recommend your establishment but I will also see fit that your locals know how rude you are....
As a business owner myself I can only say this.... "people will vote with their feet" in this case mine are walking to another establishment the next time...

They cannot handle any type of crowd or busy time of day.
I stopped in for lunch with my kids and it took over 35 mins to get a small order thru the drive thru (3 items). It was so bad I had to call the store 2 times from the drive thru lane to see if they had forgotten about us. When I spoke to them, they didn’t care and didn’t offer a discount or anything for the excessive wait. Just a poor annoyed "I am sorry" that sounded like my 2 year old, not a store manager. I was also just given excuses of "the restaurant is busy and we lost your ticket" by the 2 other people I talked to but at least they were polite and pleasant to talk to.
This is not the first time I have had this issue and this is the 3rd strike for me. Each time I have had an issue and spoken to a manager, I was treated poorly and rudely. I understand they might be stressed out by their job but if they are a manager, they need to focus on customer service. They are supposed to fix the problem or offer solutions, not make it worse.
The food is not worth the bad attitude by the manager or the poor and even slower service. This use to be the go to spot in Graham but these days the best advice I can say is "Keep...
Read moreFriday 5/20/22, 5:00PM, Went by Hursey's in Graham. Went thru the drive thru and ordered a fish sandwich, a chopped BBQ sandwich, a dozen (12) Hush puppies and a order of french fries to go. The fish sandwich was not too bad, the BBQ sandwich awful, the bun was old, stale, dried out all the way thru and had a terrible texture, it was real chewy or rubbery, like it had been sitting around for days and then put in the microwave. In the bun was a very small spoon full of BBQ and slaw. The dozen Hush puppies turned out to be just 6 hush puppies. I have been going to all the Hursey's locations for years and have never ever gotten anything like this before. I know help is hard to find now, good help even harder to find but you would think they would give them a little training on how to make a sandwich, what to do and not do such as using old bread that should be thrown away and how much filling goes on a sandwich.
