Updated Review : 2025 I'm sorry but my previous review does absolutely not reflect the changes that have happened to this location. New management's greed has completely destroyed this Taco Bell. The insane price hikes are unbelievable. What once was the only Taco Bell I would visit has basically become the only location I won't visit. I feel bad for the staff that has to suffer with this poor lapse in judgement made by the ownership. We all suffer due to the greed.
The staff and food are still great the very few times I visited since the change. They try hard with the tools they are given. There were times I would frequent this location almost daily for years. Nevertheless, that time is no longer. A shining star in the community has now tarnished into a faceless greed machine.
If you read recent posts from others, its very apparent. A LOT has changed and NONE of it has benefitted the customers from all these years. We can only be loyal until we are taken advantage of.
I'll stop by occasionally to say hi to long time friends. But most of my money will stay in my pocket. I'm not going to line the pockets of those who have destroyed one of my most loved restaurants in Grand Haven. (Even the world)
The end of an era comes not with a bang, but a whimper. RIP to the best Taco Bell on the planet.
Review from 2020 Bar none, the best Taco Bell location. Consistently fast, friendly, and accurate service. I can't even go to other Taco Bell locations, because even at their best, they couldn't match the Grand Haven crew. Staff is top notch year after year. The most welcoming...
Read moreConsidering this is the closest taco bell to us, I've ordered frequently. And every single time I've ordered any type of lettuce, I've ended up violently sick the next day.
In addition to getting what im guessing is food poisoning to some degree, it's a 50/50 shot whether we get actual tacos, or a weird soupy mess of lettuce cheese and grease. After a few months of finally wanting to trust Tbell again, we just ordered. And let me tell you, the disappointment of getting tortilla soup wrapped in said tortilla was real. There was more cheese than anything else on both of my soft tacos and the meat was barely existing. It was 80% cheese, 10% wet lettuce, and some meat chunks. My cheesy bean and rice burrito + beef was literally beef and cheese and had 0 rice. This was the size of one of my soft tacos and also resembled soup. My boyfriend's hard tacos were soggy after the 3 minute drive home and it was just... wet? The bottom of the hard shells were barely holding everything together and he said biting into it was slimey.
I loved taco bell. I used to eat tbell all the time. But just like every other fast food restaurant recently, the food assembly has just gone down hill and it's not the worth the money to...
Read moreThis Taco Bell has really gone downhill. It's bad enough they don't do breakfast anymore, but now their prices are about 50 percent higher than the Taco Bell by the mall. So for now I just make the 13 minute drive and I end up saving way more money than what I spend on gas to get there.
Here are some examples of the price differences:
Spicy Potato Soft Taco - $1.79 vs $1.00 Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito - $1.99 vs $1.00 Crispy Chicken Taco - $6.49 vs $5.69 Cantina Chicken Bowl - $9.39 vs $7.59 Build Your Own Cravings Box - $9.99 vs $6.29 Add Onions - $0.29 vs $0.00 Add Spicy Ranch - $0.75 vs $0.30 Add Black Beans - $0.79 vs $0.30 Add Guacamole - $1.20 vs $0.50
I'm guessing that the only items that aren't more expensive are the ones where the price is advertised or set by corporate.
Oh, and they got rid of the chili cheese burrito, a local favorite.
So I make the short drive out of town to get breakfast, way better prices, and chili...
