GH Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Grand Haven

Pizza and Sub has really changed, and I wasn’t impressed. I’ve been getting subs from here for as long as I can remember. I always get the same sub, and this time when I ordered, it was different. There was hardly any meat on it, and it was barely warmed up at all! Plus, I hated the new bread they used. The bread used to be so good, and now it was a dry, crunchy sesame seed bun. Not a fan. I also ordered a chicken quesadilla. It used to be so filled with toppings, but this time it was sloppily put together and half the ingredients were not even inside the tortilla, they were all in the to-go container. Plus, I had to rip the tortilla, because it wasn’t cut all the way through, which was a pain. The menu inside had all of the prices covered, but no new prices were on the menu. I would think if you’re going to cover the prices (I’m assuming it’s because they are going to increase the prices), they would’ve at least put the new prices up before they opened. Thank you for a AMAZING FIRST IMPRESSION! The staff was welcoming and friendly. We found this establishment on the way home from Muskegon. Service was prompt...and THE FOOD WAS SOOOOO GOOD. We wanted pizza...but not from a chain and decided to give this place a try. The cheesey garlic bread was AMAZING...and I'm lost for words on how AMAZING. the pizza was. The amount of food for was we paid was super impressive. The crust of the pizza was the perfect paring of a little crunch with the right amount of softness. Sandwich's are a hard thing to screw up, so most sandwich shops you go to tend to fall within a pretty standard range for being good quality. I've been coming here for years, and even though I moved away, every time I'm in town I try to visit (a few times a year). However, there's something about pizza and sub shop that's different, their club is absolutely the best club sandwich I've ever had. Its a pretty standard club sandwich as far as ingredients go but I cant tell what it is (Maybe the cheese? or the bread?)
