Holy cow! This place is amazing! After stopping at the dirty truck stop by the highway, we decided to drive 20 minutes out of our way to eat here. SO glad that I did. Firstly, it's a local mom and pop place, which I always enjoy experiencing. Secondly, the food is absolutely amazing. We stopped on day 11 of a 12 day road trip, so I've had my fair share of mom and pop restaurants to compare this to. In 11 days, this is the best food I've had- including the very expensive splurge dinners. Everything send homemade (soup, salad dressing, everything!). Thirdly, the server misunderstood what I ordered (super minor- I didn't even realize my omelette didn't have veggies until I was done eating) and they comped part of my meal even though I want upset, I just wanted to be sure I didn't get charged for the veggies. The only downside is cost. It's $3 extra for hash browns with an omelette and the omelettes are a bit pricey as well! However, they were so good that it didn't matter!

A must stop restaurant, my husband ordered the wrangler cheeseburger, salad bar with fries. I ordered the Ruben, salad bar, with fries. The salad bar was multiple trip allowed and had a nice assortment to be able to make yourself a salad your preferred way. The BBQ sauce that came with my husband's cheeseburger is house made and really good. My Ruben was great, the meat that was used was so tender it was delicious. We saved space for their truly made in house pies. If you're looking for an old fashioned coconut creme pie this is the spot to find it. The staff was friendly and did a great job. Thank you for a great after surgery meal and restaurant experience.

Super Tuna Melt & mashed taters! Ice Tea was very strong, just the way I like it, but for almost $3, wished I could have gotten it to go. I did take the rest of my melt with me. The pie was superb! I hesitate to mention what kind as apparently it usually sells out! Get a load of that meringue! Luckily I always have my dessert first 😁 The server was very shy, but did a great job. Thank you to everyone at Lee's for some great HOME cooking. Not fast food. I'll be back for sure! This place should not be confused with "Lee's (fried chicken) Restaurant " in West Lincoln by Pioneers Park.

Would you want to eat here after you see the female owner in the kitchen blowing her nose and coughing then doesn’t was her hands, just continues to prep contaminated food. Yes, the health department has been notified. My family was there having lunch, My nephew was sitting where he could see the kitchen. He saw the woman that usually gets the drinks for the tables in the kitchen prepping food when she coughed and blew her nose then went right back to working on the food without washing her hands! He called her out on what he saw and she apologized profusely. Only because she was caught! Most people can tell this family owned restaurant hasn’t been run well since the original owners (parents) had it. On top of it all, the owners dress sloppy, don’t give a warm welcome and are very gross on the health standards. As long as anyone isn’t looking it will happen again and again. Btw, will they ever get rid of all the Avon junk that has been sitting on the counter since the...

I understand being short-staffed can be tough, but it’s no excuse for the poor service I’ve consistently experienced here. When we walked in, all the empty tables were dirty, and we had to wait for one to be cleaned. Once seated, it took 10 minutes just to get a menu. No one offered drink refills, and our server didn’t seem happy to be there. He dropped off the food and never came back—we had to go to the front counter to get our bill. The woman who took our payment seemed indifferent, almost like we were inconveniencing her.

This isn’t a one-time experience; this is the third visit in a row with similar issues. When I expressed my concerns, I was essentially told, 'deal with it or the other option was the restaurant will close it's doors.' It's sad because I used to enjoy coming here, but the slow, inadequate service makes it...
