Taco John's — Restaurant in Grand Island

We waited in line to order for 15 mins then waited another 25 minutes to get our food. The sign said they were short staffed so we were understanding of that. However, when we pulled up to the window there were two employees just leaning on the counters flirting instead of helping to get orders ready. We finally got our food, checked one bag and went on our way. Should have checked both of the bags to confirm that our order was correct. We ordered a chicken quesadilla and a cheese quesadilla, instead we got two chicken quesadillas that were sloppily thrown together. My husband got a burrito that didnt have anything inside but meat, they forgot a large order of potato oles, but gave us two extra soft shell tacos. Worst order mess up I've ever had. This Restaurant is clean, has good food and has always been delivered on time. Only one issue: service has been very disappointing. No smiles, no thank you's, it feels like the young staff has no desire to give any kind of appreciation to those who come in. Also, you hear a lot of complaining and grumbling going on in the kitchen. It makes a man feel uncomfortable to walk into the place and order something when he knows that a negative atmosphere is waiting. That being said, I know that it is a hard job, and that inexperienced customer service representatives do have to start somewhere. If a friendly staff was waiting for me there, I might go back, but I probably will wait a while...

We came in and ordered, I got the person's food that was behind me and he got mine- it was 2 seperatw orders, how does that happen?? I paid for mine and he paid for his, two orders!!! If the employees don't want to be here on a Friday night, then maybe they should quit and give the job to someone who needs a job and wants to be working. I told the cashier about the whole mix up and he comes back with "Oh that's weird" he didn't offer to fix it or give us a refund.
