I am fully aware that this location is new and so therefore will be busy. I've visited a total of 5 times.
The first two times I was in the drive through, I waited just shy of an hour. That is the most ridiculous asinine amount of time to wait for coffee!
The third time it didn't look that busy so I got in the line again in the drive through, waited 35 mins, and moved 5 car spaces, I hadn't even snaked around to the order box, seriously! So I unhooked the chain on the cones and drove out of line because WHO the heck has time for that?!!
Fourth time, I got in line in the drive through, I had 45 mins to kill before my job, SURELY that's enough time as the line was luckily really short and just 2 cars away from the speaker box. Terrible mistake! I waited a total of 50 mins, already stuck in line couldn't leave unless I wanted to Baja over the curbs. I was late to work!
So today, my 5th and final attempt, I chose to use the app and order ahead. App told me my drink would be ready at 11:24am. Of course there's a line at the window and I wait my turn to tell the guy at the window that I had a mobile order. There's people behind me. I get to the window It's 11:35, and surprise, my drink is not ready! Love this for myself! I stand off to the side and 2 separate people behind me go to the window, place an order....my order has already been placed mind you 15 mins prior to their little faces ordering at the window. Surprise! Their drinks get made and handed to them, they go back to their cars and carry on with their lovely lives enjoying their coffee. Yay for them! I should have just ordered at the window like them, then I would be a happy little lark with my coffee too.
I check in again with the guy at the window and he says my drink is still being prepared. Nice. I look at my watch it's 11:49 and I ask for a refund. He calls a manager, they refund me. No asking why, no apology, no "here's a refund and I'm getting you your drink right now" I walked away with a little refund receipt and no drink and 45 mins of my life I will NEVER get back. I love your coffee Dutch Bros, I just don't love it enough to ever give you one more second my time ever again. Maybe you all should go do some training with Chick-fil-a because you can wait in that line that's twice wrapped around the building and be out in 20...
ย ย ย Read moreI arrived at 6:30am and had only 3 cars in front of me. The lady taking orders did a terrible job getting through the cars that arrived first. I sat and waited for the lady to take my order but as a new car kept pulling up sheโd leave the line of cars that was already PREVIOUSLY WAITING, to take the order of the new car that were pulling up. I finally had enough and placed an order online but had to pick it up in the drive thru because I was blocked in. A few cars did leave the line after ordering because THEY ARE SO SLOW. Youโd think for a coffee place they would be faster considering people need to get to work. Waiting 30 mins in this line at 6:30am with barely anyone there is absolutely ridiculous. I asked the lady if they could put stoppers on the drinksโฆ they never did and I had 4 drinks. (Which spilled in my car while driving) Since it took them so long to get through the line I of course ended up being late to work. I live on the other side of town and made sure to get there and have enough time to get my drink and get to work. Iโve been to other locations in Denver, California, and Florida and Iโve never had such a bad experience till today. Please be aware that if you are trying to get something before you have to be somewhere consider getting there an hour or two...
ย ย ย Read moreI waited for DB to be open a lil over a month (hoping the line wouldn't be so bad). The line didn't look too bad, but they have 2 parallel lines, which is a bad idea. Had a truck from the back pull in front of me that hasn't even ordered yet. Was parked on the curve giving the employee their order, so I couldn't even drive around them. I knew the drinks would be out of order and they took so long ordering. It wasn't even peak hours but it took me 30 minutes to get my drink, fron the time I entered the line. Wash too long to sit in drive thru in the mornings. I got a sugar free hazelnut latte. Maybe there wasn't enough syrup, but it didn't taste good, so I had to add flavor once I got to work. Disappointed. Employees were very friendly & tried to be helpful but I feel like the lines need to be organized. I also realized there is not a lot of space for cars in that right area. I also feel for safety reasons the enterance should be on Sparn, not 29 Road, especially because when the line is too long and goes out onto 29 road, I can see this being a safety concern for cats rounding the corner from North Ave, driving...
