The Brass Rail Tavern — Restaurant in Grand Junction

Awful. Stopped into this bar and in blatant disregard for the Americans with Disabilities Act was refused service because of my service dog. I offered to speak directly with the owner in at attempt to educate them on the matter but they refused and instead, like a coward, put their employee in the awful position of having to discriminate against a disabled person. If the owner replies to this, or creates a fake account to reply to this, the response will be an attempt to save face by claiming my dog was being disruptive. My dog has flown ON AIRPLANES all over America, been through airport security, met the pilots of the planes, but cant go to your bar? Lol. Ask any of the 4 people at the bar that night, my dog was sweet and mellow as she always is. What kind of owner puts his employee in that kind of terrible position? Kicked everyone out 10 minute before 2am on a Saturday. Literally came over to our game of pool, took the balls and put them in the holes to finish the game before we could sink the last 3 balls. We already paid our tab and were finishing a paid game of pool. The female bartender was polite but the curly haired ponytail chick was the one who didn’t like to stay past 2am (closing time .) Last call should be 15min prior but they called it at 1:30am. I’m really disappointed as this was first time as someone from out of state. I’ve lived in Florida and never have i been pushed out of a bar like I was here for just finishing a paid game if pool that no one has to clean up. Mike and Tyler have opened one of the best hole in the wall food spots in town. This place needs to be visited and on Wednesday night there's free pool!!! The food is unique, fresh and all natural ingredients.
