*We decided to try out this Chilis one more time and although it was a better experience all around we still encountered issues. I talked with the manager who was very attentive and helpful. However she asked for my email address which i gaver her as she said she wanted to send me some compenstion. We never recieved anything from Chilis (which was very disappointing that she didn't keep her word.)
We walked in, we were not greeted. So, we asked the other party of three if they had been helped and they said yes. So, we went up to the host to be helped and she was on her phone. She did not seem to want to help us except reluctantly. Another gal offered the option of seating at the bar, but we had our daughter with us, and we said no we need to sit in the regular area. We finally got seated and the waiter came, and we asked about the unlimited soup and salad. We had ordered it a couple of weeks ago without any problem. The waiter said that they did not do it for dinner, and I asked when they stopped doing it. He said about a month ago. I tried to explain to him that we had just ordered it about 2 weeks ago and he started to get aggressive with me about it. He seemed frustrated and asked if we needed to speak to a manager, but the conversation made my wife and daughter uncomfortable, and we considered leaving.
I asked to speak with a manager and when she came the manager interrupted me as I was explaining that we had just ordered the same thing a couple of weeks earlier. She got aggressive with me and just defended her waiter and refused to listen to me as I tried to reason with her. It was extremely uncomfortable, and I felt like she was making a scene. She said they had dropped this option off the menu four months ago, however people can still request it even though it is not on the menu anymore. She said we could still get that option for our daughter.
When our food came my spoon for my soup was dirty (with chunks of food on it) I asked someone if they would get a new one for me and they said sure. When she brought me a new spoon, she did not wrap it in a napkin or anything, so I was not sure if her hands were clean or not. She also seemed frustrated with me that I asked for a clean spoon.
I realized we were there during the dinner rush, but it was not really that busy and there was still plenty of seating open. I was surprised how dirty the floor was. Our server at the end of our time did apologize for his behavior, but it was hard to know if it was legitimate or not or if he did it just wanted to ensure he got a tip.
This is the second time we have eaten at this location, and we had a couple of issues last time as well. I am not interested in going back to this Chili's as they do not value their customers and whatever they say is correct and the customer cannot be right. It was the worst experience that we have ever had at a Chili's and this location does not seem to understand how to have good customer service.
I have already filed a complaint with Chili's corporate...
Read moreSaturday, 06/26/19, approximately 3 pm. We sat on the 2nd booth to the right side of the isle past the entry/lobby. It wasn't very busy at that time definitely not crowded. I don't recall the waitresses name. Long story short... We ordered our drinks, a beer & a mixed drink. She took the menus which is expected. She took the menu from my hand as if though upset. I looked at her like what did I do to deserve that. She raised both eyebrows and looked at me like do I have a problem. I'm a forgiving person and let that go. My husband was halfway with his beer & ordered another one. He took his time drinking the remaining half. The waitress passed by our table and my husband reminded the waitress for his 2nd beer. He decided to go for the beer at the bar almost 20 minutes after the 2nd reminder. He asked her what took so long? She snapped at him. She said that she had to enter the order in the register and then was going to get the beer. Then she brought our food to the table left it o the table and immediately walked off to the back/kitchen area. I tried to get her attention about my salad having the wrong meat. I was ignored. I decided to eat my salad. Then she passes by back & forth numerous times and never asked if we needed anything else, not once! The manager passed by and asked if all was good. I told him about the wrong meat in my salad. He was courteous enough offer the right meat. She miraculously appears when we finished eating. We absolutely love Chili's!!!!! I hope the waitress has...
Read moreI love Chili's. It's a sanctuary for everyone of any any walk of life. Triple dipper for life. The cheese melts in your mouth, and the way it pulls like vulcanized elastic from the crusty bread coating is nothing short of how mozzerella sticks work.
One time, I took a date to Chili's because based on her profile picture that's about what she was worth. She was rude to the server and kept condescendingly calling her 'hon' and asking her to wipe down a clean table.
My date was into some weird stuff and ordered chicken nuggets off the kid's menu as part of some ddlg roleplay. The server was amazing and patient. When my date went to the bathroom I apologized for her behavior and left my number on the receipt.
We got back to her place and she asked me to treat her like my little girl, playing blocks and reading newspapers while she colored. But I could't do it. I told her I was going to get a pack of cigarettes from the corner-store and blocked her number. So I guess I did treat her like my daughter.
Then on the way home I got a text from our server saying I'd left my debit card by accident at the restaraunt. When I went to get it the next day I asked her out and we dated for a month. We parted amicably because I'm allergic to dogs and she moonlighted as a PETA euthanasia technician, so I couldn't be around her after work until she'd taken a really thorough shower.
Anyway get that triple dipper, and I also highly recommend that new Big Smasher burger. It tastes almost identical to...
