Since when did QUESO LOOK LIKE SHREDDED CHEESE !?!?!? I ordered extra queso on my baked potato and didn’t get anything extra but was made sure I was charged 50 cants for queso for it to be shredded cheese! Mind you I know exactly what I’m talking about because this is my 4th time ordering this here AND NEVER HAD AN ISSUE GETTING WHAT INPAID FOR! The lady in the front proceed to put the cheese back but not give me my money so of a purse I wanted the cheese if I wasn’t getting my money back! She proceeds to say “omg” with an attitude as if there’s a problem with me getting what I paid for ! Then she proceeded to storm off and say “BYEEEE” Customer service is horrible ! The lady with black hair with a strong face is always rude and will get mad if there’s something wrong. She will roll her eyes at you just for asking for what YOU PAID FOR. I do not recommend this place to my worst enemy ! I’ll be uploading a pic of this women the next chance I get since no one wants to give me a name...
Read moreStraight to the point: Best tacos I've had in Grand Prairie hands down. Maybe the best I've personally had in the DFW area.
I love tacos. When I saw this place with a 'Coming Soon' sign I knew I had to try them out. Stopped by on 04/08/19. I ordered 3 tacos de trompo and 5 bistec (beef steak) tacos. I paid just under $20 for 8 tacos.
The customer service was very friendly. The cook had my order out extremely fast as well. The tacos de trompo were easily the best I've had around DFW. No question. This place specializes in this type of taco and it shows why. They are legit. The bistec tacos were also delicious. Very flavorful.
Guanataco used to be my go to taco spot when in Grand Prairie but Fito's has now replaced it.
Not sure what the hours are, but if it's the same as other Fito's around Dallas, then it's probably 10AM-12AM Mon - Thurs, 10AM-2AM Fri-Sat, and 10AM-12AM on Sundays.
I highly recommend this...
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised by Fito's... They were located in a failed Regio's Chicken location that I occasionally visited... I have seen negative Tex-Mex posts about lack of re-fried beans etc... so I am adding my 2 cents... I was skeptical and unwilling to go all in... I ordered a single Picato which showed to be beef on the menu for $3.50... What I got was a grilled quesadilla flour grilled tortilla stuffed with chopped beef and white American cheese and accompanied by grilled onions, chopped fresh onions and cilantro and 2 sauces consisting of a creme jalapeno and a red pepper creme sauce and a 1/4 lime... The beef was similar in taste and texture to a roast and was very good... Picato means chopped in Spanish from Spain... Is not Tex Mex but wonderful! I highly suggest you try some non-Tex-mex food! I feel you will find that Black Beans, re-fried beans and Spanish rice are...
