Whole lotta ColadaWhole lotta Colada
If you’re looking for a fun and lively spot to grab some great Mexican food, Rio Bravo is definitely worth checking out. They bring the energy at night with live music, karaoke, and even live bands — it’s always a good time. The vibe is upbeat, the atmosphere is fun, and it’s the kind of place where you can either kick back and chill or jump up and sing your heart out. Their bar is massive and seriously stocked — it feels like they have just about every drink you could think of. I will say, the only hiccup I ran into was when I paid; they charged my horchata and beer separate from my food in which I was confused but they explained it But props to the staff — after I left, they made sure everything got fixed and taken care of without a problem. The food is really good — fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Plus, the service is top-notch. The waiters and waitresses are fast, friendly, and constantly checking in to see if you need anything, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, Rio Bravo is a great spot for a night out with friends or even a casual dinner. Good food, good drinks, great people, and a lot of fun. Definitely a place I’d go back to.

I wanted something quick with a good drink, so I googled to see what was near where I was. I passed this place without knowing it due to the building. The structure looks like if it was a business office place at one point. This is a very large restaurant that seems to have a DJ booth with a dance floor. My opinion, don't now if they have that. I sat at the bar, and the lady who helped me out had a straight face she would just hand you a menu and ask you what you wanted. She wasn't rude at all, but I felt like she was bothered. Now, the food was very good to me. It reminded me of my moms cooking. Seemed to be freshly made. This is my favorite guiso that uses real ingredients and no powder. Great rice & beans. Meal is served with your choice of white corn or flour tortillas. I chose corn. The margarita had the lime mix flavor, but after my first one, I could tell it did have liquor, so i was good. Then I decided to try their micheladas, which was also a great choice

I went there to eat and have a good time. On Saturday and Sunday they seem to be very, very busy so be prepared to wait 10 to 15 minutes before getting a seat. They have valet parking ready to help you for the tip of your preference. The servers are too busy to actually provide customer service ( I had seen improvement on their customer service) but their food is tasty, fresh, hot and they give you a generous portion on their plates. It's really good! Beers draft are cheaper than the bottle. They have karaoke on Friday and Saturday and specials on food Monday through Friday. Update, I went again on November 02, 22, it was not busy, since it was a Wednesday evening but our server was kind of distracted and left us waiting for a long time before taking our order. I asked for a Mojito cubano and it was pretty good, I would say and Molcajete Gomez that it was ok but didn't taste freshly made like their food normally is.

I visited the restaurant on June 24, 2025. First of all, the staff only spoke Spanish, which made communication very difficult. I kept asking about vegan options, but they didn’t understand me. My cousin had to write it out on a napkin, and they finally said they could make cheesy enchiladas with beans and rice. I then asked if the price would be cheaper since I wasn’t getting any meat, and the man told me yes — it should be less.

When they brought my food, I asked for sour cream, guacamole, and tomatoes on the side. When it was time for my cousin and I to check out, my ticket was $14 and some change. I gave the cashier a $20 bill and asked for my change. To my surprise, the total had now changed to $20.13.

When I questioned it, the cashier said the increase was due to the sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, and tomatoes I added. But no one had informed me that there would be an extra charge. I understand there’s usually a cost for extras like sour cream and guacamole — that’s not the issue. The problem is that no one could communicate that clearly to me, and it feels unfair to be charged without being told upfront.

Also, the food wasn’t good, and the overall service was disappointing. No one seemed to speak English — until it was time to pay — when a woman came out and told me that she has to pay extra at other restaurants too. I get that, but if you’re serving a diverse group of customers, it’s important to have at least one staff member who can speak English and explain charges properly. This experience left a...

It was truly the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. When our food arrived, I decided to cancel the appetizer, but just a few minutes into our meal, it was brought to the table anyway. I politely reminded the server that we didn’t want it, but she shrugged, set it down, and later added it to our bill. Throughout the evening, she never returned to refill our drinks, and the alcoholic beverages we ordered tasted watered down, as if they lacked any alcohol.

When the bill came, the server took my card but didn’t return it. A short while later, she informed us that she had lost it. Then, the manager approached and claimed she had already given it back to me, which was completely untrue. When I insisted that she hadn’t, the manager casually brushed it off, saying, "accidents happen," as though it was no big deal. I asked her to either find my card or comp the meal for the inconvenience, and she responded by saying she would check the cameras. After this, I approached the bar, only to catch the server trying to conceal my card, as if none of it had happened.

To make matters worse, we had called ahead to confirm whether the venue was appropriate for kids, given it was late in the evening. Despite being assured that it was, during our dinner, a drag performer got inappropriately close to me, and when I excused her, she moved on to a man sitting directly in front of my 13-year-old, behaving in a shockingly inappropriate manner, she aggressively (explicit) the shaft of his beer bottle...

We came here Saturday at 8 and were seated right away and received menus. We decided to come here because we wanted to drink and eat and spend a good amount of money since we didn’t celebrate Valentine’s Day. So it was this or Vidorra and we decided to take a chance here. Our waiter never came by and I told my husband to wait because maybe they were really busy. The people behind us came after us got seated , given drinks and we never even got checked on. My husband had to go get a random waitress and can’t complain about the drinks being served fast. Our food order was taken and she was very attentive after that. We wanted to keep drinking and get dessert but the whole dinner felt like we had to flag down someone for something every time. We decided to leave as we couldn’t enjoy it, seeing the people around us get seated and attended to. My husband had to get up and go to where the waiters stand to pay for our meal. We still left a 20% tip but were prepared to leave generous tip since we were planning on going to a higher end place but wanted a more low key place to hang out . The food was good ( green enchiladas) and will probably sit at the bar next time, or just never come back as there’s way better places with better service...
