I purchased a loaf of Sara Lee wheat bread and after opening it realized it was hard on top or stale. I noticed a long tear on the packaging so returned it to the store at Serv desk. I told the girl Sheena or Shana I would go grab another and she abruptly Stopped me and exclaimed,âNoâ! !She said,âwhen did you buy it and where is your receipt? I said I didnât have my receipt on me but, it could be looked up via my Kroger card. She clearly was rude so I told her to call her manager. I waited several minutes and he had not come. I let her know I would go get a new bread to please have him wait for me instead of leaving me stand there. When I returned he still hadnât come to the front. She had LaShonda another team member call for him again. He came to the front and said we donât want the bread back our return policy has changed due to the Covid19 pandemic. I let him know that the problem was her attitude and rudeness. I shop this store all the time and LaShonda agreed. I know several Kroger employees by name and all but this particular member have always been very happy to help. He said, no problem he would give me the bread. âThought to my self, âyour not giving me anything.â I already paid over 3.00 for a bad loaf of bread but, kept my mouth shut. Lol I did let him know that this wasnât the first time she had been rude to me. He said he would handle it. Recently, I purchased groceries and was taking groceries to my car and a carton on soft drinks that the sacker loaded to the bottom of my cart fell off and was leaking. A team member in the parking lot saw and said to take them to the service desk for replacement. I brought them back in to the store. Sheena or Shana at the service desk (not sure of her name) left me standing there with the drinks leaking all over the floor turning her back to me when I told her what happened. I then put them up on the counter and went and got the replacement. Upon returning I saw the team member that told me to return them to the store.    Read moreI would like to share my experience this afternoon 9/25/25 around 5:30 pm the African American girl by the self check out with glasses as I was walking in she rush over trying to get inside the customer service desk I am assuming and almost bump into me we both stop and look and see spoke a little loud and said go ahead like I was a child or something that was really rude I ask Caucasian guy for manager he seems a bit irritated I end up speaking with Max he wasn't no help he stated he would speak with her but by our conversation I don't believe him so I call back to get corporate number after asking for a manager thinking I would get a manager that was nice and wanted to help Josh got on phone sounding irritated speaking low like he was tired or something I stated can you get me another manager that can be helpful he then laugh and put me on hold I end up speaking to Max again I told him I will contact corporate he could of ask young lady to apologize but instead he says I told you I would speak to her I need to get her side I been doing this for years I told him if he doesn't I will contact corporate he also mentioned if he ask employees about situay they will own up to it but also said nobody there ever rude to anyone this is my first time seeing this young lady or ever has an employee at this location be rude as of today I will not be returning been going here for years but after today I know it doesn't matter if I come or not they have a million of customers but I was really upset about the situation with the employee and...
   Read moreHello on June 16th I placed a order online and was submitted with the anticipation that I would be able to have someone pick up my order since I am on bedrest for the next six weeks and unable to do the shopping myself. I received a call from your store associate named Melissa. She explained that my order was cancelled due to your system crashing. She stated that I would be refunded and that I would have to redo my order the following day. It was a little frustrating however, appreciated her taking the time to notify me. She called me back again, minutes later to ask me to please resubmit the order since the system was back up and she would have it completed today. Unfortunately, when I resubmitted the order it changed the date of my order to June 17th. Melissa showed concern and empathy for the system glitch and stated she would do all in her power to complete the order for me. I wanted to let you know that Melissa has gone above and beyond for this customer and I am very grateful for her wonderful communication. Customer Service has become a thing of the past, but Melissa has that awesome quality and I just needed to share my experience with you and hope that her manager(s) see this comment and give her kiddos for all that she did.
