I love pizza. I hate the big pizza chains, and I always order pizzas from the small companies. But, my recent experience with Pizzaiolo's is inexcusable. Now, according to Google maps, I live 3.6 miles away from Pizzaiolo's and the drive time is 7 minutes. Sunday Mar 12th, I called and placed an order for a meat lovers pizza and a calzone. I placed the order just after 7pm. When I placed the order, they told me the bill would be 26$ and change. The person told me that it would be 50-60 minutes until they could deliver it. I said that was fine, because I was not in a hurry. Approximately 90 minutes later, I called them to see where my order was. I spoke with a man, that told me that it had not even left yet. They told me that they were backed up, and offered me the pizza and calzone for 15 even. Because it was probably too late to order from somewhere else, I went ahead and accepted the lower price. The pizza and calzone arrived approximately 20 minutes later. I paid the 15 dollars and gave the driver a tip. The pizza and calzone was warm, but certainly not hot out of the oven. And when I tried the pizza it was dry, like it had been cooked and than sat around for awhile. Pizzaiolo's makes the same mistake that alot of pizza chains make, by not using enough sauce. I literally could not taste the sauce on my pizza. The calzone was pretty much the same. What bothers me most about the pizza and calzone is how absolutely plain they both were. Some places with sprinkle seasonings on their pizzas, or Parmesan cheese, or garlic powder or something. My pizza from Pizzaiolo's had none of that. It tasted more like the pizza you can buy at a gas station. Besides the messed up delivery and the poor quality of their product, I would have been incredibly mad if I had paid full price + tip for the pizza and calzone. I probably would have taken the pizza and calzone, driven to their location and demanded my money back. They charge 16 dollars for the meat lovers pizza. That is 4 toppings. And that is incredibly over priced for their product. 7 dollars for the calzone, which may be right, plus a delivery fee. My original bill was 26 dollars and change, and that is quite a ripoff for a pizza from Pizzaiolos. Its poor quality product, at high prices. I truly feel that I received the best quality product and service that Pizzaiolo's is capable of. Unfortunately, its sadly lacking.

We ordered 2 of their Godfather pizzas and one XL. Total came out to $122.XX. I read the reviews before coming here. The reviews are what brought us to order from this establishment not to mention convenience because we had to be somewhere at 5:45 which was literally around the corner. I went on their website to order, however, the Godfather pizza was not an option to choose from on their website nor Menufy. So I called in to place my order at 4 p.m. ready to pick up at 5:30. I asked for two godfather meat lover pizzas One with extra extra sauce and olives one one side. I emphasized EXTRA Sauce. On their website the godfather pizza ranged from 24.95 - 39.95. I was charged 45 for one godfather pizza plus an extra 4 for the extra sauce. I questioned the pricing and brought up the website pricing. The young man was super nice trying to tell me that it was only online that I would be able to get that pricing. I tried. No luck. I asked if they could price match what their own website states. At this point I was talking with the manager. He tried to tell me he doesn't know about the website and it's probably not their website when in fact it is. I tried explaining that it's not right to advertise one price online then not have an option to order that item online. He then said they had to go up on their prices so the prices online are old. Again, not the customers fault. I still ordered the pizzas, I was just hoping they would honor their website pricing. Pizza was not ready when we arrived. We did not walk out of the establishment until 5:55. Making us late for our other appointment. Pizza was huge and the 2 gd and XL pizzas we bought was enough to feed the party of 22 adults. The pizza was decent not bad but definitely a pizza you want to eat warm. HOWEVER, after repeatedly emphasizing extra sauce the pizza with olives DID NOT have extra sauce. And paying $4 extra for sauce and not get it, is crazy. Overall if you want to try a place different from pizza hut, domino's etc. This is the place. Just make sure you get what you pay for. And eat your pizza warm.

This was my boyfriend's and I first time eating here and lemme just say. The experience was horrible. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo pasta. My boyfriend ordered a slice of the BBQ pizza and a slice of the Margherita pizza. We also got the spinach artichoke dip. Starting with the appetizer, it honestly wasn't too bad. It tasted delicious and the bread that came with it was nicely made. But when I got my chicken Alfredo pasta, it was a disappointment. The pasta had no flavor to it, wasn't creamy at all. It literally just tasted like buttery noodles. Then the bread it came with was way too doughy as well. My boyfriend wasn't satisfied with he's pizza either. They served he's pizza on a very thin piece of paper that just melted to the pizza, it was over loaded with toppings and for him was a complete let down. Not to mention it was served on a tray? Personally found this unsanitary. All of this for $50?? This man who I'm assuming is either the owner or the manager came by to ask us how we were liking things, my boyfriend was honest and said we were unsatisfied. But since we paid $50 of course we're just gonna try our best to eat it. The man said they did not do refunds and we said we understood that but then he changed it up and said if we had told him in the beginning he would've given us a refund 💀 He wasn't rude at least. He was very professional with the negative criticism. Personally, we will not be back this restaurant. So if you're planning on trying it out, I do hope you have a better experience than we did.

I really wanted to like this place. And in fact the pizza could have been quite good. However, I placed an order on-line and went to pick up my pizza at the appointed time arrived to be told “just a few more minutes” and then proceeded to wait for an hour to be given my food. I checked in every 10 minutes or so, was told once that they were waiting on my salad, but half the time heard echos of “is it an online order... yes an online order...” then nothing. I was finally handed my order and headed out.

However, when I got my pizza home (a less than 5 minute drive) I discovered it was cold, the cheese was congealing and the crust had gotten a little soggy in the middle. The bag the salad was in had significant condensation on the inside. And the bread that came with it was cold and chewy. This leads me to believe my order had been misplaced, and prepared and just sat in the kitchen for quite a while before they gave it to me.

Even this I can be understanding about, it was very busy and mistakes happen. But I called to let them know what had happened and I was given the “what do you want him (the owner) to do?” I was not asked if they could do something to make it right, it was more of a “what do you want me to do about it ... not my problem anymore.” I had hoped to be offered a partial refund or a free pizza next time I came in. I asked for a refund. I was told that the owner wasn’t willing to do anything unless I came back with the order (I already had my oven going to reheat it and dinner was already an hour late, we were having to just make do).

The lady on the phone told me it wasn’t right, she had seen me sitting there waiting for an hour, but the owner wasn’t going to do anything for me. I told her I’d have to give a poor review and she said she understood and agreed.

I like to support local business. I tried, you blew it and you didn’t fix your mistake and you didn’t care that had given me cold food that had clearly sat for a while as I waited, and...
