Steph's Chillville — Restaurant in Grand Prairie

First time ever coming here and I left upset. 6/22 around 8:39pm I stood outside to place my order, I’m on the right window and it’s taking them long for them assist me which I know they see me bc they would glance. So I start to look around to see signs if they are closed and I also start waving and signally at the window asking if they are closed. The boy worker there points at me (mind you they still haven’t opened the window) and starts to laugh at me and mock me. A girl then opens the window and she’s like you order at this window and as she’s telling me he is still mocking me and laughing with the other girl workers there so I confronted him asking what’s his problem and he’s like “you were at the wrong window” and I’m like this is my first time here that gives you no right to be mocking me and laughing and he just walks off. The girl that was about to take my order did apologize. It’s so shocking after seeing the good reviews for this place and having to encounter that situation. From the owner to their employees it’s great customer service! Me and my kids usually come once a week in the summer after church and I will say we prepare ourselves for a close to 40min wait but I will say ITS WORTH IT 😋 I love getting the white coconut and cream with a scoop of vanilla ice cream inside, my son loves the “chango” basically a pickle Dilly w/chamoy and Tajín 🤤🤤 We just left this place a few minutes ago and they now make FUNNEL CAKES and I’m not much of a fan of funnel cakes but this guy done changed my taste buds for them, ni paque, Best funnel cake I’ve ever had 😋 Know that me and my kids truly enjoy your snow cone shop, we been coming for almost 3years and looking forward to many more. I drove out here to try Steph’s Snow Cones recommended by a friend. However, my daughter and I did not like them at all. My daughter absolutely loves snow cones so I took her here. Customer Service was GREAT, however snow cones were dry I had to chop my ice at the bottom with now juice, just ice. No real flavor to the snow cone syrup just tasted like ice. Well we tried it and we just did t like it. Now we on our way to our absolute favorite place. Snow on the Rox in Desoto. Now that’s the absolute best in the DFW area.
