DO NOT COME HERE! I worked at this location for over a year recently, so let me spill all the unseen details from behind the scenes.
First and foremost I personally have witnessed and heard of multiple situations that would have this store failing food safety audits etc. let me give you some examples.
An employee had a disagreement with a customer and tried to teach them a lesson by bending a banana peel from the trash into the customers smoothie, then continued to serve it to the drive-thru customer.
Staff is thawing frozen product under hot water. Even the chicken on the line still has water in it from this thawing process. (Would not eat anything frozen)
They let all their açaà bowl bases reach well over the safe temperatures to be able to serve. Literally they all look like a puddle before going into the freezer.
Their freezer does not hold temperature and everything in there constantly gets thawed and re-frozen due to this.
There are multiple instances of cross contamination due to staff not keeping their areas clean. (I hope no one has any nut allergies! Nutella and PB are smeared everywhere.)
There is literally black mold growing in the ice well and water pump. More can be found next to the food products and smoothie products on the line. (This is a major health violation)
They never change their water purifier.
Since they never scrub their blender lids. Mold is present there as well.
The staff will make fun of you based on what you order or how you talk.
The overall satisfaction rating of this store is the lowest in the company due to incompetence.
Upper management is the worst and gives no support. They just want to set their people up for failure.
They prep numerous items at once causing products to go over their respective temperatures.
They willingly serve expired product due to laziness.
Their lobby tables are always sticky and dirty with trash under.
There is always urine on the bathroom toilet seats.
There is so much dust and dirt build up around the ventilation that gets recycled into the air.
There is 0 sense of urgency with the staff. (Be prepared to be there longer than expected)
They soak dishes present with stains in bleach.
They do not scrub their dishes. (Debris are left on âcleanâ dishes)
Expect to pay more at this franchise compared to others.
I forgot to mention mold being present on their sandwich bread.
Their staff never washes their hands.
They are trying to hide this review.
The list goes on and on. Do yourselves a favor and AVOID this location at all costs. Any tropical smoothie ran by wagram franchise or morengo is a joke and expect to deal with whatâs listed above.    Read moreI'm giving this tropical smoothie a 2 star due to the arrogance and disrespectful service displayed by the 2 Caucasian ladies/teens that was working with Rohey, the African American young lady/teen today July 3rd. My dtr and I walked in the new tropical smoothie on Camp Wisdom in Grand Prairie. These 2 young ladies was busy checking their phones, laughing loudly and dropping the "F" boom as Rohey the African American young lady was serving the drive through, and as we stood and waited, These other 2 ladies totally ignored us. They looked at us as if we were not there. I stared at them, Rohey then came to serve us, one of the ladies went to the back and went and picked up a to go order that Rohey just finish making and place it on the shelf, the went back to laughing with her friend. As we waited for Rohey to make our smoothie, 2 other customers came in. Rohey ask the ladies to please get the 2 customers orders, the young ladies gave her a nasty look and totally ignored her and went to the back leaving her by herself with 4 customers. Now, these ladies obviously do not care to work, or maybe they do not care to work with black people or serve them. But, whoever is in charge of this store on Camp Wisdom in Grand Prairie, check these 2 ladies. Rohey didn't deserve their lazy, none supportive behavior today.    Read moreI visited this location this evening around 7:15 PM in the drive-thru and requested a Health Nut with Whey protein and no turbinado, which is my usual routine. The sales associate stated that he couldn't make it because the smoothie was retired. I explained that I understood it was retired but mentioned that I usually get this smoothie when I visit, including as recently as yesterday. He repeated that he couldnât make it because it was retired.
I asked if the issue was that he couldnât make it because it was retired or if he didnât know how to make it. He admitted that he didnât know how. I called the store and asked if anyone there knew how to make it. Anthony, who took the call, said he could make the smoothie but didnât have access and didnât want to scroll through the tablets to find it.
I then called the location in Mansfield, and they said itâs easy to make; they just look through the catalog and find the ingredients to make it. Therefore, I headed there.
I am a smoothie fanatic and very disappointed in this experience at this location. I hope the franchise owners train Anthony and the rest of the staff on how to access retired smoothies in the catalog so you donât miss any more sales due to a lack of knowledge. I patronized this location four times this week, asking for the same smoothie, and today, the lack of knowledge and unwillingness to go the extra mile to find the answer...
