Glazed Kolache and Donuts — Restaurant in Grand Prairie

Sometimes I don't notice all the signs until I'm inside. I surely didn't notice that it was almost 12 pm and that Glazed Kolaches and Donuts closes at 12 pm. But that didn't stop them from delivering a top tier customer experience.

First of all, you have to appreciate the decor. It's comfy and cozy with a slight French patisserie feel. There's a vignette with cute knick knacks and mugs and of course I inquired about purchasing one. They're not for sale, but give life to the shop.

Let's talk about the food. I ordered a half dozen glazed donuts, a cheese cream kolache, and two sausage, egg, and cheese kolaches. The young lady offered to warm up my selections, but I wanted to eat these at home.

I looked at the drink menu and that's when she mentioned the coffee bar was shut down. I was clueless about the time, but they never rushed me or my experience. I'll have to make another visit to try out the coffee selection.

The donuts has been old and looks and taste like its not fresh i come in 4 times a week and spend at least $10 each time but i feel like they don’t appreciate my business it seems like they always rushing me the moment i walk in the door with no customers waiting in line give me a second to think about what i want to buy show some patience and respect and no matter what time i come 5:30, 6:00, 6:30 or 7:00 they always don’t have the donuts i always buy they are hiding it i think they might be mad because I don’t give them a tip really?? So today was my first time actually GOING into this place- I always make my husband go in... I've had their donuts a few times, and they were always really good! This morning I stopped in to get myself a few things (pregnancy cravings) and IT'S SO ADORABLE IN THERE! It wasn't only super cute and welcoming but the prices were spectacular and they had a variety of things to choose from. I walked out with a dozen chocolate donut holes, a small pig in the blanket, and a blueberry cake donut. They all tasted PERFECT and the blueberry cake donut was not overly sweet like most donut shops. Customer service was great this morning unfortunately I did not get the name of the girl who was helping me with my order. I highly recommend this place and will be back...
