I had a great evening out with my wife because we made the best of a situation. Our server and the server next to our table were professional.
A man was very vulgar and loud outside of the restrooms while talking to some female. My wife and I thought it was actually a fight breaking out. He actually disturbed a few tables who were close to the restrooms.
When we asked for the manager to make sure he knew that the guy was disturbing our visit, the server understood and sent yesterday manager over.
The manager came over and focused on the fact that the guy was White Gary (the producer) from 101.5 Dee Dee Mcguire's show. My wife and I could care less who he was and we are not "star struck" so who he was meant nothing.
When the manager dealt with the same complaint from the people at the table next to us, he offered discounts and paid for drinks. He also told them he knew my wife and I which was not true. The reason we came up is that they knew we heard what he said and how he was acting more than they did because we were closer to where "White Gary" was when he was disturbing the restaurant.
We later found out from the Manager that him and "White Gary" are friends. We suggested that Gary could have come to a couple of tables and apologize or defused the situation.
The manager said he talked to him and that the people next to us always have issues about things when they come to the Crazy Crab. We attempted to inform him on how much people like Gary can hurt business and he said he told Gary and he would take something off our bill like he was doing with the people next to us. I didn't believe the Manager and neither did my wife and when the bill came nothing was taken off. Gary eventually left on his own and never apologized for his language or actions.
White Gary is someone that I use to respect for several reasons but now I have less respect for him and the Manager of the Crazy Crab. My wife and I don't need discounts or financial assistance but when we go out we don't expect professionals to act the way that the Producer of a radio station did. We also expect more from a Manager of a restaurant.
White Gary's money does not spend better than ours and I would have handled things differently if oir son was present to hear his vulgar and offensive verbiage. The food and drinks were decent. The bartender was good at his job and provided great service which I must point out before I go on. I order the bacon wrapped shrimp š¤ appetizer which I shared with my friend we both ate one piece each and noticed a bad smell coming from what we ate. We then proceeded to tell the bartender who told the manager that we stated the Bacon š„ or Shrimp was bad and that's all we said. We didn't ask for any money back regarding the appetizer. The response we got back from the manager was not a customer friendly tone in fact we were told that we couldn't get any money back for the bad batch Bacon wrapped Shrimp which didn't even mention to anyone that we wanted any money back. We did get the Bacon wrapped Shrimp redone which I know I am not going to eat anyway since I have been going to the bathroom since I got home from eating that bad food it's now after 10 pm and my stomach is still hurting and I am still going to the restroom. My friend was also feeling sick because her Shrimp in her Shrimp Linguine was bad. She only ate two pieces of Shrimp and some of the linguine before she called it quits. I hate to say this it's not about the money or anything else. It sucks do to the the fact that we both love the crab š¦ boils which my friend usually gets. This is the first time trying something different which turned out this badly I feel that management should do a better job so they are not serving bad food to customers and making them sick. I have worked in the restaurant business before and it's not just about the money. A business has to make money which is understandable but you also have to provide good customer service to keep your customers interested in your food so they will come back which this manager didn't provide please check your Shrimps it was...

They were benches attached to tables and my husband is in a wheelchair, so we would have been separated from our group. YOU had to move us...ADA. Don't put that on us, you were wrong for even suggesting a wheelchair should be at that type of table. Shame on you, again.
My ticket was $48 for salmon and 2 fried crawfish baskets and 2 iced teas. It shows $15.99 for each crawfish basket instead of $8.99.
You failed, stop making excuses - perform.

THE WORST SERVICE ever! Our car club stopped by after a St Patrick's day parade, group of 14. We arrived at 3:30. Took 35 minutes before they would even take our drink order. Well, no "UNTIL 4:00" menu now, so prices doubled. Crawfish basked was $8.99, charged me $15.99.
Then the food was brought out 1 to 2 orders at a time. One person received her meal over an hour before the last meal (mine) was served. Folks had finished before my dish was even cooked. Then when I got my meal, it was so hot (because they had just finished cooking), I had to let it cool some before I could touch it, and there was not silverware on the table after being there almost 2 hours.
Of course groups the size of ours get an automatic 18% gratuity. REALLY! The "gratuity" was not earned. HORRIBLE service. We were an inconvenience, not income.
Last, the service was not with a smile, our wait staff seemed pissed that she had to take care of us. One person asked 3 times for a drink refill - drinks are serviced is small glasses.
