I've been to this Wendy's location many times over the past two or three years, but have decided today is my last visit. The food is fine- what you'd expect from Wendy's- but the service and building itself are poor.
The service at the counter is usually friendly enough, but somewhat lacking in attention and professionalism. Routinely, an item will be missing from my order, or I will be asked the same question more than once, such as whether my order is here or to go. They seem to have no sense of urgency.
The primary problem with the service, however, is not the employees themselves, but that there aren't enough of them. The wait times here are nearly uniformly horrendous. There just doesn't seem to be enough help at this restaurant, regardless of day or time. On the positive side, whenever I have encountered a manager, she has always been friendly, attentive, and professional.
As for the building, it probably looked nice in 1982. This is to say that I would be hard-pressed to name one single feature in this building that looks good or clean. The ceiling is falling apart and stained, the restrooms are in horrid condition (often complete with foul odor), etc. It doesn't look like the employees put any effort into cleaning or maintaining the restaurant, but to be fair, it would be difficult with any amount of cleaning to make a restaurant this dilapidated look good. At this point it's not merely a matter of appearance; I'm concerned about sanitation and health.
This location has been very convenient for me in my job over the past few years, but I believe...
Read moreI chose one star because I had to. We've visited this restaurant tons of time because is in our neighborhood but last night was the LAST time. Evrytime we go at night (not too late) around 7,8 or 9pm they DON'T HAVE baked potatoes. Last night we ask for baconator fries and they said they didn't have bacon for the baconator fries, then my husband said "then let me have a baked potatoe" and the girl said the didn't have any. Part of our order was 3 cheeseburger deluxes and the BREAD WAS HARD as a Rock. And not only that, we asked for ketchup and they gave us 3 ketchups so my the girl said " you guys need anything else?" And my husband said "more ketchup" and she gave us more but when we were at home and began to get everything out of the bags we saw all the little ketchups packets sticked together with something like dried ketchup or honey or something it was nasty and disgusting. Then I felt the bread of the cheeseburgers when I was getting the food out of the bag the bread on the rest of the burgers was right but no the bread on the little cheeseburgers so you don't have to guess why "they have no customers" There's always something not right with our order that ls why last night was...
Read moreWorst Wendy's in Texas here is why. Everyone knows that Post pandemic life has brought issues for everyone how ever tonight I stopped at this location for dinner the lobby is closed during business hours with all of the lights are off including the open sign along with the street sign so I didn't even know it was open until I saw a car in the drive though and here is what takes the cake at 9:00pm when I make it to the front of the drive-through they tell me THEY ARE NOT TAKING ORDERS ONLY DOOR DASH AND UBER EATS. So to the owner of this establishment And/or the franchise for the company Explain how a company that closes at 12 o'clock midnight Decide that @9 pm for 3hr it is better to stop serving orders and only make orders for delivery services because that's what happened tonight I waited in line to place my order only to be told "if I wanted to eat here I have to place a mobile order " and have it picked up and delivered.......mind you when they told me this I was I was in the drive thru to...
