There were some beautiful African aunties and uncles in the restaurant, dressed from head to toe in traditional Nigerian attire. Modest yet elegant, their appearance brought a smile to my face, it was refreshing to see something different from the usual social norm.
The service was excellent, although I did have one unpleasant encounter with a young man, a customer, who was rude when I asked where he was from. He simply clicked his teeth and walked out after getting his food. I don’t understand why some Nigerians can be rude to Black Americans like that, but no hard feelings... maybe he was just having a bad day.
As for the food, it wasn’t as flavorful as I had hoped. I expected it to really hit, but only some dishes stood out. There's a lady who was cutting plantain sitting behind the kitchen door was straight up looking at me for a good 5 minutes until I stared straight back at her before she close the kitchen door. The waiter recommended jollof rice half combination with beef and chicken. The rice was dry (seems like it went straight out of the freezer into the heater). The beef was decent to swallow, but the chicken seems like its been cook for a week already. I forced myself to eat the food as all of the servers were looking at me.
Overall, this is a one and done. I hope the next time I went to eat some african food, I'll have a...

Today I was disappointed on the plate I normally get the plantains were so dry. I ended throwing them in the trash, the beef was tough I couldn’t cut it with a plastic knife & fork. I ended up throwing most of that in the trash. I really enjoyed the puff puff . It was so delicious. Customer service was excellent. I have never heard of puff puffs but they gave me some to try. I really appreciated that. Also, they let me sample different rices because I love spicy foods but not too spicy so they allowed me to try them. Thank you so much for the...
