Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Grand Rapids Charter Township

Horrible experience at this location. I ordered a Club Lulu as an unwich through the drive thru. I ate half the sub before realizing they had added multiple slices of cheese. I have a severe dairy allergy amongst others and was severely sick from their carelessness and failure to make the sandwich the right way. This sandwich doesn’t even come with cheese on it. I called the store later that day and asked to speak to a manager. The girl who answered, Kaylee, wouldn’t confirm if she was a manager and had a major attitude when speaking with me. Kaylee said I could get a credit for the next time and for obvious reasons, I said I wouldn’t be back and asked for refund for that day. Kaylee said she would refund me my order total; it’s been almost two weeks and I was never credited for it. Someone who is SO careless about mistakes such as this one should not be working in food service. I only ever use delivery when I'm in a pinch. When I need something quick, my usual go-to is Jimmy John's (this specific location). My last order took 40ish minutes to be delivered. When the driver pulled up to my location, she continued to sit in her vehicle on a person phone call for another few minutes instead of bringing my food in. When I gave feedback through the link that is being given out, I was told by corporate that my feedback was escalated directly to the franchise owner of this store. I never did hear back. It's honestly unfortunate because I frequented this location. I hardly ever give out negative reviews because I personally understand the staffing issues happening right now. I order from this Jimmy John’s and this location only. I ordered tonight at 5:58, called for the first time at 6:33 to see where the order was. Was told they were short staffed and it would be there soon. By 7pm it still wasn’t here so I called back to talk to the manager and ask to not pay for the food but still tip the driver and the manager said no and hung up on me. Terrible service and immature. When I called back a female also “manager” answered and wouldn’t give me the name of the previous man to leave a complaint. Once again I was hung up on.
