I wanted to bless my bank today, so I went to the Domino's in Grand rapids Minnesota, I ordered six pizzas four orders of wings to be delivered to the bank which was right across from the Domino's. I was told that the order would be delivered within 25 to 30 minutes 45 minutes later after coming from a appointmentI stopped at the bank drive-thru to see if they had received their lunch. They did not and did not understand what I was talking about. I personally went across the street to the Domino's Pizza to try to find out why they had not received it, I asked to speak to a manager and a young man came up and stated that he was the manager and what was the problem I told him over an hour ago that I had ordered this food for my bank and that it had not received them yet which spoils a surprise because they had already ate their lunch the young man stated that they delivered it now so I called the bank back while still in the store and they told me know they had not received anything this was at 11:21 when I called in for the order it was a quarter to 1:00 and I'm still in the store talking with this young man action still why the food had not been delivered, I stated what about the 20 to 30 minutes it was supposed to take, he told me he had other orders to go out which I understand but this order was just right across the street from them why wasn't that order put in first and delivered first, here we are at almost after 1:00 p.m. and I'm still in the store the food still had not been delivered, and I called the number in front of the bothof the workers so that they can hear that still no food was delivered, I was upset because it was supposed to be a surprise to my bank, the tellers and workers that work there are awesome and deserved a treat and I wanted to treat them today. At this point I'm in the store almost a half an hour and he's trying to find his delivery driver, I stated to him that this is ridiculous why wasn't it delivered first seeing that the bank was right across the street from the Domino's, all he kept saying to me was I'm sorry there's nothing I can do about it I kept mentioning what about the 20-30 minutes that it was supposed to arrive to them that they had already ate their lunch which blew the surprised if I would have known that it was going to take them almost an hour and a half to deliver some pizzas I would have went elsewhere knew that it was going to take more than an hour and a half I would have went elsewhere, finally he got a hold of the driver, and then he said the guy is delivering it now.. I stated to him while I hope that their food is still hot and by the way do you have soda here can I have one. The guy then had a nerve to say yes for a dollar. I stated to him and you say you are a manager the least you could do is offer me something to drink after I sit here for half an hour trying to make sure that the order that I placed an hour and a half ago is finally delivered that he could at least said sorry ma'am would you like something to drink or what would you like to drink while we wait while we wait on a order that was supposed to been delivered a long long time ago. In the past I have blessed few people with gift cards and etcetera from that Domino's and as I told him that I would never be back and will be placing a review I spent almost $100 with a surprise and they at the Domino's in Grand rapids Minnesota attitude about this situation sucked. Calls and online feedback have been provided, and while in every case we were given a free pizza credit or the item was remade, the quality issues persist.
Tonight's order had miscut slices, was very light on toppings, and had next to no sauce on it. Past orders have also had light toppings or missing toppings. One time, I ordered parm bites and cinni twists and what I got were the baked bread parts without any sauce or parm/cinnimon coating on them. What??
Hopefully these issues can be turned around. I understand the difficulties near every business is having with staffing, however, quality should not degrade this far to prompt me to update a 5-star review from 3 or so years ago.
