Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Grand Rapids

I am normally the one to leave an awesome review, however this experience has frustrated me enough to leave a poor review. I ordered my pizzas online without a problem (the only reason this review is getting more than 1 star). My email confirmation said that my food would be delivered in approximately 40 minutes. I waited 55+ minutes and still no food and finally a phone call from a very rude delivery driver saying that she can't find my house. I have had deliveries from hungry howies multiple times and every other driver has found my house without a problem. She decided to do other deliveries before returning to my house. She was rude and did not even acknowledge she was late. I called the store and the manager didn't seem to bothered that I had a poor experience and cold Pizza. He said he would talk to the delivery driver but I very highly doubt he will do anything. I will most likely not be ordering...

I’ve been using this Hungry Howies for years. It used to be the best Hungry Howies in town. I would drive across town to get it passing by closer Hungry Howies. Then it all changed. I don’t know if they’re under new management but over the last six months I’ve got consistently the worst pizzas I’ve ever gotten from any pizza place. The pizzas three times in a row were under cooked. I called corporate to let them know that they need to look into this location because They have no sense of standards anymore. Today I got a call from the manager. He called four times in a row during a busy part of my day like a psycho ex. Saying I made the driver cry? The only thing I said to the driver is this is wrong again. This place doesn’t know pizza. The manager doesn’t know customer service and I had already decided not to return before this outrageous jerk...

Ordered online, paid online, show up to pick up pizza and door is locked. Hours earlier they changed operations and only allow curbside pickup. Would have been nice to know in advance. Had to drive back home and figure out how to get them to bring out pizzas. Employees were lost and struggling, I don't blame them, they are just kids trying to deal with unsure owner/corporate policies.

Pizza is mediocre at best. With all this effort I won't be going back anytime soon. Ill just cook a frozen pizza at home. It tastes as good and I won't have to deal with sharpie notes written on door.

The phones were ringing off the hook and employees seemed completely overwhelmed with work load. Maybe we should close businesses like this until we figure out what we are doing with...
