Pulled up to the drive thru, no cars in line, so no waiting. Awesome 👌. I hear a voice say "welcome to McDonald's, I'll be with you in a minute." I say "yup, no problem." After waiting about 4 minutes (I know because I listened to an entire song that is 4:21 in length), a car pulls up in the OTHER lane, someone takes their order, and they pull forward. Then, another car pulls up, same thing. Then a third car. As the fourth car pulled up, I hear "ok, what can I get you?" I say "well, I don't feel like I should pay for this since 4 cars have been helped before me, and I was here well before them." I get a moment or two of silence and then hear "what can I get you?" I reply with "didn't you hear me? I want to know why 4 cars were helped when I was here waiting well before they got here." She says "we're really short staffed today." I say "If you're so short staffed, why did 4 cars get helped before me?" She just repeats herself, and I said "being short staffed shouldn't dictate which customers take priority. That doesn't even make sense." She says "we didn't have anyone working at this window." I asked for the manager (Karen, I know, but felt it was warranted) and she says "I am the manager." I asked how she was going to rectify this, and she snaps back at me, basically saying to just deal with it (don't remember her exact words), and says "I'm doing the best I can." I said "well it's not good enough," and drove away. In all the years I've worked with the public, I learned that in a situation like this, you apologize to the customer and try to make it right. You don't make excuses. This girl clearly grew up being told nothing is ever her fault. And even if it's not directly her fault, as a manager, you still represent the company and thus, the problem, and should try to fix it, not...
Read morePlace was unorganized and very unwelcoming. Although it was deer opener and I'm sure they had to be under staffed at the same time. I did not get my curbside pick up for about 30 mins before I went inside to ask if it was in the works. They told me it was. I stood by for 15 mins and then asked the manager directly if it was. They didn't even know it was on the order even though my online order had dissapeared and treated my order as if it delivered. I was beyond annoyed but the manager was willing to go out of the way to get my order together. I had to make a second trip back inside after getting food to actually get the food I ordered and finally got it. Curbside here is not worth the time. Also even when we got our food we did eat it when we got it and everything was cold and tough. They need people who are more capable or atleast care about the food industry. Overall not happy with anything that came from this experience. I used to live here and it was a good turn over for food and people. Now it's full of incompetent employees. Staff was nice otherwise, but didn't know what...
Read moreWalked into order to go cause Staff is too lazy to work the lobby. You have enough employees out there to work the lobby. Walked in heard employees being hostel with each other, foul language and saying the r word. When the manager barely got onto them the employee just said ReRe instead of the actual word. You can tell they don't respect each other or the manager. I have worked in kitchens and this wasn't a healthy environment. I understand why they can't keep employees. No one wants to work in that toxic environment. They have more than enough employees to have someone work the register which isn't needed considering they have a kiosk. They shouldn't be talking to each other that way and it's probably best they keep the lobby closed because when it was brought to their attention a customer was in the lobby with kids. They didn't do anything different except that one girl switching her word choices. Also the fries were just thrown into the kids meals. Why do I need a fry pod I guess? Just toss everything in the box. Have everything...
