I was here over the weekend and after a million absolutely horrible visits I can't go here anymore after the service I had. I go here because its like 3 minutes from my house so it's convenient but I'd say more than half the time something is wrong with my order and the food is usually subpar (relatively speaking). On this visit though the service was atrocious.
We spent over 40 dollars and the entire time I was trying to order the worker was interrupting me and not getting my order right (I could sense he was training and he was young so I can give the situation grace being a former general manager in food myself). So the order is still messed up and they say they'll fix it at the window, I get to the window and we hash it out and I'm thinking everything is back on course. Well all the the things that were wrong were still wrong when we got to the window to get our food. We were missing a sandwich, the drink orders weren't even close (for some reason the girl, who was a manager by the way, insisted that's what we ordered as if we somehow don't know the words that came out of our mouths when we ordered). So now to get to part that ensured id never return here ever again (and we probably come 2 to 4 times a month).
The manager (younger, had braids and wore glasses and was working the window on Saturday alongside a lady who looked like she was in her 40's) was straight up arguing with us about what we did and didn't order which is mind-blowing seeing as this restaurant consistently gets our orders wrong (which again we're former food workers so our tolerance of this is miles more than your average person).
My girlfriend ordered large unsweetened ice tea, the manager insisted we actually ordered a medium unsweetened iced tea that was half lemonade (ordering unsweetened tea just to add lemonade makes no sense and defeats the purpose)
I ordered a large Dr. Pepper, they tried giving me a medium coke
I ordered one Mcchicken normal and one with extra sauce, they instead just modified the original to have extra sauce and didn't include it, they then charged me at the window for it (which at this point would be correct) only to not include it at the window where you pay and then argue with me about it.
The fries were legit unsalted, like actually no salt (I know this because I worked at a McDonald's in high school so I have decent insight into how this visit actually should have gone)
So at the point of reaching the window to pay we check the bag because the order taking process was a Trainwreck (which if you make it right I don't clearly care that much) and I could visibly see the drink types and sizes are wrong (besides my kids slushie which was correct). We tell this manager what we should have and she proceeds to start arguing with us about what we actually ordered (again I had my receipt in my hand and the order taking process was brutal). After about 30 seconds she tells me to pull forward and slams the window in my face, all while I'm trying to ask if we can at least have my daughters drink while we wait (which she ignored). Ironically it wasn't the multiple times I've found hair in my food, a sticker from someone's nails in my drink or my favorite which is the old we order two large meals and the second one is always a medium along with you guys constantly forgetting things in our orders, it was a manager having the audacity to argue with me about something THEY messed up and doing so in front of my 5 year old. Probably worst service I've ever had and I won't be coming back and honestly this was so bad I'm probably going to send this up the ladder over the stores head to a district manager (which I've never done in my...
Read moreI really hate the fact that this is the closest 24hr McDonald's to me. It's so sad cause this McDonald's is less than a mile away from my house and no matter what I do by the time I make it home my food is always cold. I have a hard time believing that this is due to the ride home. Not only is my food cold but I'd say 85% of the time my order is messed up. Usually I just suck it up and deal with it. A few weeks back though my fiancé and I had finally had it and called to make a complaint. I spoke to a 3rd shift manager who was quite ride and felt as if I shouldn't have a right to complain cause I didn't feel like driving right back to fix the problem. I might only live less than a mile away but my time is valuable as well as the factor that gas isn't free. After arguing with me about it he finally said he would put my name down in the book to replace my messed up items. The next night I called up there to make sure that there would not be an issue if my fiancé picked up the order without me being present. I spoke to a different manager that night and unfortunately I called just after change over from dinner to breakfast, so I would not be able to get my replacement. The manager then went to the book to see what my order was and low and behold my name wasn't on the book at all. At this point I was blown away. I then asked her what the name of the manager from the night before was cause I now planned on calling corporate to report all this. At this point she became very defensive and said she could not give me his name. After dealing with her rudeness I was able to get her to actually put my name in the book so I could get my replacement eventually. The next night my fiancé went up there to pick up our replacement order as well as add to it. She asked for everything to be cooked fresh and to order. When she got to the pick up window our bag of food sat there as she overheard the lady working the window carry on a conversation with a couple of guy's who happen to be in the lobby after hours. She overheard them having a conversation about drugs as our food sat at the window getting cold once again. After three minutes the employee finally opened the window and handed over the food. When my fiancé made it home I was hungry and so ready to enjoy my meal. If it was only a perfect world. Once again the fries were cold and my McChicken sandwich I was so looking forward to was a mcdouble instead. We tried calling and the phone only rang and rang. 20 calls and a half hour later we finally gave up. I would've got ahold of corporate like I intended to, but unfortunately I wound up in the hospital. No not for food poisoning, thank God, but for a hip replacement. I don't know if it is only 3rd shift that needs help at this McDonald's, but that's the only time I go to this McDonald's, only cause it's open 24 hours and close. Maybe it's time to drive a little extra and see if I can get the service I deserve and wouldn't it be something if by the time I made it home my food...
Read moreRequested 3x Carmel drizzle on mobile order for large frappe but only got the usual amount on top of whip cream; when I pointed this out to the girl who handed me the frappe she politely offered to put it in a new cup with the extra drizzle on bottom and covering the sides( the way most McDonald's do the extra Carmel when requested). She told me to pull ahead and she'd bring it right out. As she turned to go her manager addressed her asking what was she doing then took the frappe from her. That is all I saw until moments later the mgr came to my window with the same frappe.I informed him the girl was supposed to be giving me the extra Carmel that I had paid for, he said" this has extra Carmel" so I told him that she was going to put it on the sides and bottom like most McDonald's do, and he said "we don't do that anymore" I then asked could I possibly get a little container of Carmel so I could add it myself, I said idc how much you charge me,$5 if you want." he made a kind of huff if a breath like an exhausted kind of exclamation and said fine. when he returned he gave me a small container fun of the hot Carmel that they put on Carmel sundays. Not the kind they out on frappe. It melted my frappe and turned almost solid. Definitely not drinkable. So if you like extra Carmel on your frappe don't visit this particular McDonald's. Or at least hope you get the kind young lady at the window before her grumpy...
