Paid $30+ For half of my things to be missing? Seriously? I’d give zero stars if I could honestly. They can never seem to get an order right ever I’m missing over half of my order and I call and the manager has the gall to tell me he made the drinks himself when I ordered something entirely different and also hung up on me the first time I called. This place can never get an order right ever.
Honestly I cannot be bothered, when I called the first time I had to call five times in order for someone to pick up once, not only was it handled poorly but when I tried to say what was wrong they hung up immediately after? Not only this but I heard the whole channel on the phone switch and could hear employees laughing in the background and over the intercom system as they switched it off before hanging up, so I caught that nice little tidbit. When I called again I asked why they hung up and he said it was because I didn’t say anything. Not only that but misgendered me, my name is Joseph? But anyways, I told him the issue AGAIN and he told me “oh did you order through the app? Well you have to take it up with uber eats not me” I’m sorry? You’re the one that is running the joint and you also messed up the order and got items wrong so it’s not just a DoorDash problem (since that’s where it was ACTUALLY delivered through) and he told me he made the drinks himself, my husband ordered dirty Baja blast zero sugar only to get a Baja blast, not zero sugar, nor was it the drink we ordered. Not only this but our other drinks arrive half melted with no stickers over the lids? That is a policy with delivery orders and seems like a store problem to me.
So to the manager that took my order, shame on you for not only being unable to facilitate customer service but also how blatantly rude and disrespectful you are?
Editing since I would love to specify that we could not even consume what was given due to the food on top of being cold tasted stale or like it had been sitting out for hours. We are service workers ourselves but you are at least being paid enough to care at least somewhat about your job and should handle it better than this whole store...
Read moreI've been here a couple times because it's the closest taco bell, and now I drive the extra 10 minutes to go to the one on Alpine.
The last two times I got chicken it was hard as rock- I genuinely thought they put rocks in my quesadilla before looking and realizing it was the chicken. The staff were also rude, I went inside to order and they ignored me for 5 minutes even though I was waiting next to the register and tried to ask them for help but they either didn't hear me over how loud they were or they ignored me. They also don't put the mobile orders on the rack that says "Pickup" at the counter, and instead have it on a different "Pickup" shelf INSIDE the kitchen, far enough away from the counter that you can't read the names on the receipts to tell if yours was already there. After waiting 5 minutes I went to ask if the one on the shelf was mine, and who would've guessed it, I was ignored for another 5 minutes. When I finally got the cashier's attention he asked "Pickup for Jeffery? We just got it so it'll be a little longer," when I had been waiting in front of the counter for 15 minutes by that point. Then when I finally got my order, the freeze was completely melted but at that point I just wanted to leave so I didn't bother asking for a new one.
Me and my family have seen parties happening in their drive-thrus multiple times, always with 5+ cars and everyone (including most drivers) being obviously smashed out of their minds. That's not technically the taco bells fault, but it really put us off on it.
The straw that broke the camel's back was when my celiac aunt had a flare up on two separate occasions when taco bell is the only fast food she can eat anymore. Before this she had never reacted to Taco Bell in the 5 years she's been diagnosed with ceilac. I refuse to eat from there now, and when I feel bad making people drive extra when getting us food I just remember how upset she looked that the one place that was supposed to be safe would break the trust that she had.
It could have been worse, but not enough that I would...
Read moreUpdate 3/22/18 @7:40AM Went thru drive thru, ordered a breakfast burrito, breakfast taco and tried to order a coffee. Was told there was no coffee available. No orange juice. Only soda or water. There were three cars waiting, when I pulled in. We all waited at least 5 minutes, just to put in orders. Mind you, this store advertises that they open at 7am but, the lights were not even on yet, at 20 minutes to 8am. This is not the first time, I've come to this location, after 7am, with the store being not ready for business. There was even an employee out switching to the breakfast menu, while I was ordering. Shouldn't all that be done before opening or upon opening? Not 30-40 minutes after the fact. Not to mention, no coffee available, why? Because, someone was too lazy to make it or because someone didn't order it? This location has been mismanaged for years and continues to fail. I want so badly to like this store because it's only blocks from my home. However, I cannot ignore things like opening hours too late, incorrect orders, lack of items available (the coffee was the last straw but, it seems they're always out of SOMETHING), SLOPPY food, cold food and long waits. The only thing that is good about this location, are the employees (not counting the night manager, who is a complete DOUCHE). The employees are always friendly and apologize for the issues. The problem lies in mismanagement, imo. You can have a great team but, it can be ruined very easily, by a couple terrible managers!
I visit this establishment often. The last few months, I can't seem to get a correct order, out of them. It doesn't matter the size of the order or the time of day. There's always something missing or my order will include items I did not order. The employees are always friendly, which is the ONLY reason for two stars. I just wish they could get it...
