Taco Bell — Restaurant in Grand Rapids

My husband and I just left this Taco Bell location extremely frustrated. We pulled into the drive through and my husband started ordering since he’s in the driver. After she answered the intercom he said “I’d like two beef burritos and a steak quesadilla”. She acted like she could not understand so he repeated it. She called back “two steak burritos?”. “No ma’am. Two beef burritos and one steak quesadilla.” She asked if we’d like anything else and he began to order mine. I looked over and saw the price on the monitor for the first two items were nearly $5 each! I looked again and she had rung up two steak supreme burritos and a steak quesadilla. So, I leaned out the window and said politely that it should be two beef burritos with a steak quesadilla and not the two steak supreme burritos. Her reply was “Well you should specify that.” I really don’t know how else he could have been any clearer the first three times! I told her “Yes, we did specify that.” “No you didn’t” was her reply. I just said “Okay thank you!” And we left. I’m not spending my money at a restaurant to be treated so rudely! There was no reason for that kind of attitude from her. We ended up going to Hardee’s and they were much nicer. The manager even gave us a 10% discount because he said “you were so funny and polite over the intercom, I just had to!” About to go give Hardee’s a 5 star review. We have come here a lot. We are vegetarian so it's one of the fast food options we have. We used to love it but they got some new staff and service and quality have gone down bad. Last time we went they forgot food, and our food was not filled properly. We had mostly empty tacos, our crunch wrap was all lettuce and hardly any actual filler. When we tried to talk to the guy he said that's now much is supposed to be in it. It wasn't. My wife worked at Taco Bell, she knows how they're made. It was awful. The bigger guy with glasses that works nights, he refused to fix the food. We have been coming here for years and this was the worst experience we have had there. We will no longer be going to this location. I'd rather get an impossible burger because at least I know my food will not be janky and I'll get what I pay for. I love the food here and most staff are super nice I love everything about Taco Bell EXCEPT if anything happens on their property like a car accident if it involves any of their staff or their family you are screwed out of video evidence my insurance requested the video evidence of an accident that took place with me and someone else and they blatantly denied my insurance access to it so I got screwed as my entire frame from my back end to my transmission had shifted my truck was dog walking and seesawing when I drove down the road. I’m not going to stop going here I just feel very disappointed that after all the times I’ve gone to Taco Bell and had an amazing experience this was the one experience that just ruffles my feathers.
