Would definitely recommend. Possibly the best restaurant in the city of Grand Terrace (it's a small city)
Ambiance: This place is really quiet and dim and great for an intimate gathering of friends or family. They don't have large tables so it's best for parties of 4 and smaller.
Food: Pad Thai: Not the best Pad Thai in the world but a steal for the cost. They give you a large portion and the noodles are cooked perfectly. The chicken is always juicy and they give a generous portion of nuts on top. You can ask them to make it more or less spicy but I have always found it to be good as is. The bean sprouts really come out and all the proportions seem to be just right.
Tom Yum Soup: Whenever I have Tom Yum soup it is a hit or miss. For this place it was a hit. It's just as sour as I want it to be (very little) with a nice kick of spice. They give you a really large bowl I would suggest ordering as an appetizer for two or three people. They give plenty of large pieces of shrimp that are crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The aroma of the soup is great and sets you up for a great meal.
Customer Service: They are there just enough. They don't bother you too much or too little. When they do ask if you need anything they are very courteous...
Read moreI called in to order some takeout from here around 6:45PM on a Friday night. We got a spicy pad kee mao with tofu, panang curry with chicken, and phad pri gang with beef. It took about twenty minutes, and when I arrived, it was ready. Due to covid, they're not doing any dine-in at all. The food was around $43 post-tax, which was pretty pricey although there was a decent amount of food. All the flavors were strong, spicy, and pretty great, but the beef was overcooked and the noodles were overcooked too, not chewy at all. My friends were also saying that medium spicy for the curry and phad pri gang was too spicy even though that's the spice level they usually get and it's usually alright. Good amount of food with good flavors, but the overcooking...
Read moreWe had lunch there today and it was a great experience. ☺ We were greeted and promptly seated. The people that work here a genuinely nice and go out of there way to make sure you're enjoying your meal. Beverages were brought to our table shortly after we ordered our meal. Starters were brought to the table at the perfect temperature. The timing was perfect on the entrées, they were brought out hot and fresh tasting. We pick a great time to go (a little after noon) it was cool inside and nice jazz music playing. It is a popular place though because as we were leaving the place was quickly filling up. If you get a chance try the drunken noodles with chicken and the...
