I've gone to this place a few times and each time the food has gotten worse. I usually buy fried rice, but this time I decided to be different and purchase the chicken curry, big mistake! The curry sauce was runny, the chicken was overcooked and dry, the veggies were peas and carrots from a can, and the biggest issue, instead of potatoes, they added French fries. The main issue I had is that they refused to fix the problem. I do not live in the area, I just stopped by before I went home so I didn't notice what the food looked like until I got home. I called to ask about a refund or exchange if I brought the good back with my receipt and the lady that answered the phone responded, "that's not French fries. We have to fry the potato before we put it in there. We don't give refunds because we can't resale it. There's nothing we can do". As if I don't know the difference between French fries and fried potatoes. I've have curry from a few Chinese restaurants and I've cooked it a few times myself. This was not cooked properly and they refused to remedy the issue. I will not be purchasing from the restaurant again and I do not recommend it to anyone.

You get what you pay for. Food: you have a good variety, meat, chicken, sea food and veggies options. The taste in them are ok, just avoid the fried food, they do not taste good and looks they were fried in old oil. Desserts: very nice selection, you have also fruits, cookies and an ice cream section. Variety: very much! You can find noddles, rices, veggies, different kind of meats but NO SUSHI! just be aware of that. Service/ our waitress was super sweet and nice. Environment: someone make a comparison with J dragon in lees summit, I have to say not at all, this place has a better set up and look nicer, also has more isles with food. Let me out this in words, do not expect a first level place when paying cheap, I think for the price you pay it is fair. Just go here is you want to eat a lot and variety but not quality.

Grandview Buffet has been a staple in this community for years, and it’s easy to see why. We came here for a Father’s Day dinner, and it was the perfect spot, plenty of variety, fresh food, and a welcoming atmosphere that made the evening feel special. The staff was friendly and attentive, and even though it was a busy day, everything was well stocked and clean. You can tell this place has been around a long time because they’ve mastered what people love about a good buffet, great options, fair prices, and a no frills, family friendly vibe. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a local go to, especially for a relaxed family dinner or special occasions like Father’s Day!

I give this establishment negative stars , horrible customer service that resulted in me the consumer calling the police on the manager on duty. After getting home unpacking my meal I discovered the food had been sitting for several hours, the chicken I order was so rubbery I could not break the food down by chewing it, my rice was soft on the outside but crunchy on the inside ( due to being under cooked) I decided to take the food back, however I ate my crabragoon. I spoke with the guy I order the food from and informed him there was a problem with the chicken. I went on to explain the chicken was rubbery, the rice was under cooked. This man immediately had an attitude and told me no refunds!!! I informed him that I would have asked for them to remake my food, however at this point I did not trust him to do so, I informed him if his approach was different I would have asked for it to be re made. I then requested a refund, he called for the manager, before I could speak he began in an irrate rant tellin me he will give me 2 dollars but I ate half of my meal. After some point I was givin a second to explain what was wrong with the food. He again said I will give u You 2 dollars and you can leave. Because I was so upset I sat for a second and said just give me the 2 dollars. As he gets the money out of the drawer he began to call me out of my name using profanity. So I tried to search for my phone to record his actions. He quickly tossed me the 2.00 dollars. Gave me the finger using both hands and told me to leave. In disbelief I rolled up my window and completed the search for my phone which took less than a minute he began to beat on my window scratching my car as I was about to leave, so I informed him I am calling the police for the beating he gave my car. He comes running out of the building blocking me from leaving continues to yell and use profanity approaches my window , again yelling at me and using the profanity. As he walked pass my car he kicked and scratched my vehicle ( no marks left) I finally pulled out of the drive thru and called the grandview police to help me inspect my car for damages. No damages found so no charges could be pressed. The entire time I maintained myself and never raised a voice or a hand. I'm used to seeing customers flying off the handle, never in my wildest dreams would I have thought a "manager" would treat me this way. This establishment has absolutely no customer service skills. And the manager needs to...

The food was edible but as far as the quality......You know the customers that flood the place pretty much suggests that there is a trade off and in my opinion it is the quality of the food, now if you are starving and you want a bang for your buck then I would say go here but if you are more center focused on the taste I would say go elsewhere. Now the staff was pretty professional although they seem pretty acclimated/conditioned in dealing with the influx of customers and probably more center focused on the tips so they will rush you or maybe it was me cause usually I take a break between plates because of the belief that fullness take time to get to your brain and if I take my time I seem to eat a lot less, I think I read this some where but anyway as I went through my ritual the waitress came over asked if I was finish and I told her i was taking a break so i paid my tab cause i figured she wanted me to cause the amount of people who come in and go out im sure they have issues with people eat and dashing and it probably counts against them so I understood and somewhat sympathetic to their plight so i paid without issue and I tipped about 30% but even after that I kept feeling this ominous presence lurking and watching and as I looked up the waitress was there asking if I was done and basically telling me that I need to hurry up (so there's that) but judging from my post and my wife always claiming I analyze things to deep...take all this into consideration when using...

Me and my mom came through the Drive Thru to order 1 shrimp fried rice and 1 fried rice no Shrimp because I am allergic we wanted no eggs, peas, or carrots in both orders and they proceeded to tell us that they cannot do no egg in our entrees that WE ORDERED , after that she then go ask the GM if they can do it or not , which I don’t understand if we don’t want egg because we don’t like it in our rice then why is there a problem not wanting it in there ? What if someone is allergic to egg ? We are forced to receive egg ??? I asked for regular fried rice no shrimp because I am allergic to SHRIMP and the lady at the window made a weird face when I said that , at that time the supposed GM was at the window and I told them both that I wanted them to clean their platens or bowls after cooking the shrimp to make sure I don’t have an allergic reaction and before I could get the whole sentence out my mouth , the GM proceeded to say “we can’t do that” very rudely and started talking the CHINESE language . So me and mom drove off and I called the store and asked for corporate number, and he states “I am the owner” I said “who’s your boss” he said “we can’t do the special order here” and hung the phone up in my face . I’m making this review because it’s very POOR and NASTY customer service , so I gave this restaurant 1 STAR off service . THIS WAS MY FIRST EXPERIENCE THERE AND WOULD NEVER GO BACK OR TELL SOMEONE TO...
