Nestled in downtown Grandview, Housewife Coffee Shop offered me such a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. From the friendly staff to the lush greenery, this charming café provides a delightful experience for coffee enthusiasts and food lovers alike. Ambience: The moment you step into Housewife Coffee Shop, you are greeted by a cozy and welcoming environment. The interior is tastefully decorated with a touch of 1950’s charm, complemented by an abundance of plants that create a refreshing and calming atmosphere. The natural light streaming through the large windows adds to the overall ambiance, making it an ideal spot for relaxation or catching up with friends. Staff: The staff at Housewife Coffee Shop truly embody the meaning of hospitality. From the moment you enter, they greet you with genuine warmth and a smile. Their friendly and attentive nature ensures that you feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout your visit. Food and Drinks: Housewife Coffee Shop took pride in offering a delectable selection of food and beverages. Their coffee is expertly brewed, with a range of options. From classic espresso-based drinks to unique specialty concoctions, the coffee here is consistently flavorful and satisfying. I ordered this delicious lavender vanilla latte with oat milk which was phenomenal. Additionally, their food menu boasts a variety of options, including scrumptious pastries, sandwiches, and light bites. The quality of ingredients shines through in every dish, and the flavors are well-balanced, leaving you craving for more. Whether you're looking for a quick caffeine fix or a leisurely brunch, Housewife Coffee Shop is a must-visit destination that will leave you feeling refreshed and satisfied. Note: After stopping at housewife we ran right over to the cutest shop called Tirzah which if you have time I would definitely recommend stopping by!

Connected with a fellow foodie last week and she suggested we meet at housewife.kc for brunch; a place I’ve been meaning to try since it opened. WOW!!! A cozy little place where before you even open the door to enter, enchanting aromas of earthy spices swirling in the air are enticing you to indulge. We had the: **SALMON TOAST** Whipped garlic chive cream cheese generously slathered a rustic slice of bread, topped with smoked salmon, pickled red onions and micro greens. A delicate balance of flavors that made my toes curl! **AVOCADO TOAST** All avocado toasts are not created equal! A rustic loaf, topped with creamy avocado, smoky chipotle tomato jam, punctuated by cilantro pepita pesto, pickled red onion, cotija cheese, and micro greens. Rich, creamy, decadence at first bite! **BISCUITS AND GRAVY** Soft, Buttery, Flaky, housemade biscuit, bathed in velvety chunky sausage gravy. My dish had the perfect amount of sausage to gravy ratio; the American dream on a plate! It was a delight to meet Owner Anna (who’s makeup was FLAWLESS/ SLAYING), her beautiful daughter and son, who work at the bistro as well. Our short interaction was very organic; they made me feel welcomed! It was evident that they have a passion for what they do and that passion was translated into their food. This family have successfully made Grandview a foodie destination! Looking forward to everything on their menu! #eatlikealadyshould

My wife and I came here with our two young boys on a Saturday morning and it was jam packed! Outside is decorated like a backyard oasis with white brick, iron tables and chairs, flowers & plants, and string lights. The front door is a bit confusing because it’s not labeled and shared with another building…it feels like you’re walking into the wrong building. Once inside, it’s nicely decorated with some tables and chairs below and then another seating area on the second floor & up a set of stairs. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and were able to walk us first timers through it with ease. My wife and I both got specialty coffees and my kids got small hot chocolates. Everything was great but our boys hot chocolates were so hot we had to ask for ice, which they quickly got for us with no issue. We lucked out and as soon as we got our drinks a table left, otherwise we would have been heading outside. Everything tasted amazing and the service was great but I would not recommend coming during peak hours if you’re a first timer.

Well THIS was a tasty find! The gravy on the biscuits in gravy has a spicy heartiness I couldn't quite name, but paprika is definitely involved (look at that color!). Plus, the biscuit was perfect. I will crave this dish. The O.G. breakfast sandwich is piled hiiiigh on an English muffin that is barely up to the challenge of containing it all: cheese, a whole *block* of egg, a super flavorful sausage patty (more the size of a burger), and a layer of chipotle aioli that may have actually been the star/key to the whole thing. I have no notes. (Just that you should get it!) Just in case we thought we were gonna walk by the baked goods and not get something sweet... There was the whipped goat cheese and rosemary-fig jam croissant. We were meant to be. And it was duh licious. ❤️ And then a blackberry honey latte that was interesting but comfortingly familiar at the same time. Park us in the partial shade of the patio with no wind and an adorable downtown tableau and it was a pretty perfect new find.

Have you ever eaten at a restaurant and immediately started planning how many visits it could reasonably take before you ate every item on their menu? Look, I’ve eaten at plenty of cafes that were delicious but didn’t take the time to write a review BUT THIS ISN’T YOUR TYPICAL CAFE! I can assure you, I have NEVER in my life thought I’d be fabricating excuses to drive to Grandview, MO so I could pick up another cup of soup or croissant until now; sorry Grandview peeps but we all need to be honest here. 💁🏻♀️ Anna, Zoey and the rest of this amazing Housewife crew are legit passionate about every single detail and it shows. I’m in love with this place. The daily soups. The avocado toast. OMG that chicken salad. And👏🏻those👏🏻croissants 😭.The ONLY thing that could make this place better is if it duplicated itself with additional locations across the metro. Please Lord God, make downtown Lee’s Summit next; my spouse is getting suspicious of my weekly errands to Grandview. 🤞🏼#annaforpresident

Such a perfect place! The Main Street is super cute, plenty of parking, very walkable with large sidewalks. Housewife is so cute. Immediately welcomed by someone when we walked in. Very nice and informative while my husband and I looked over the menu for what to get. We both got egg sandwiches. Mine was on a croissant with a pesto sauce and was to die for. He got a bacon egg and cheese and it was huge. I got a latte and it was excellent. They have a really cute space. Seating downstairs and upstairs. Large table upstairs for larger groups too. Little shop area near the counter with books and games and local finds. Got the PB&J croissant on the way out. They said it just rolled out and I’m so happy we caught it. Fluffy peanut butter filling that had such good flavor but not the peanut butter texture that gets stuck on the roof of your mouth. And a house made strawberry jam that was just *chef’s kiss*. Will be telling everyone to go here when they are in KC.
