Mi Tierra Taqueria — Restaurant in Granger

Below you will see my first review. They have redeemed themselves. With the interior refurbish, they removed all the negative signs. The food is good although the portions are smaller than what I would normally expect from a Mexican restaurant. The fries remained a bit undercooked. We have been back twice now and really enjoyed our meals. I’m glad to have a quality Mexican restaurant close to home. Great job to the team at Mi Tierra!

If my last visit was my first visit, I would’ve only given them one star. I had such high hopes for this restaurant, and we have eaten there more than half a dozen times. It started out great, even though it always took longer for the carry out food than expected. We were willing to accept that because the food, especially the tortas were very good. Then the last few times they forgot items in our order and the last two times the fries were only about 30% of the way cooked. In addition to that the enchiladas which I’ve had in the past were extremely salty. I really hope they get a better clue as to how to run their business because I would love to see them make it. In hopes that the owner or management reads these reviews, please have a bit of class and take down your handwritten signs warning people that they only get one set of chips and that’s only if they get them afternoon and also start to absorb the credit card fee into your pricing. Spent $42 to DoorDash their tacos because the weather is trash today and we typically enjoy their steak tacos. My daughter and I hate onions, which is why we did not request them and they put so many on your taco that you can’t even pick them out. It’s impossible. I wish I would’ve taken a picture of the limes that I paid extra for because they were all old and you couldn’t even get juice out of them. I call the restaurant and try to work it out with them. The lady was so rude to me and said it wasn’t her problem that I need to get a hold of DoorDash. I just thought getting ahold of DoorDash was unnecessary when I could have just brought the tacos back and they could’ve replaced them with the proper order. I was a weekly customer, however, due to the poor customer service I won’t be back. I will go support other Mexican businesses that respect...

My boyfriend found this place surfing online for food. We were starving and decided to go for this place, pictures showed it was a nice clean establishment. And indeed it was, you can’t usually find good authentic Mexican food and this is an actual good Mexican restaurant. Loved the idea of the chalkboard wall for the menu !
