Unfortunately, the condition of the establishment has deteriorated significantly. There is some water damage (I think it's water damage) inside, and there are no umbrellas outside, making it uncomfortable for customers and staff alike. The building is falling apart, and it's clear the repairs are needed. Despite these challenges, the employees are exceptional. They work to provide great service and maintain a positive atmosphere, even under difficult circumstances. It's disheartening to see such dedicated workers not having a safe work environment. It is also incredibly understaffed. In the mornings, I've seen the staff down to three people. Two if someone gets sent home because of labor. I've seen them managing the whole joint, just two or three people, while also cleaning and taking orders and making food and ice cream and unloading the entire truckloads of food/ice cream from the back. However much they're making, it's not enough. I won't say much on the prices.. but $40 dollars for a cake? 4 dollars for a soft drink? Almost 9 dollars for one large blizzard. Feels a bit much Additionally, the equipment is often faulty. Particularly the ice cream machines. I've seen many complaints about the ice cream being runny, but I'm here to say it's not the employees. They will make a blizzard right in front of you and hand it to you 30 seconds later and it will be runny. That's not their fault. And I'm not talking about blizzards with hot ingredients like fudge/caramel/cocoa fudge. I once came in and witnessed the employees running from drive to front to use the ice cream machine up there because it had broken again. There's not much they can do except put it in the freezer to harden a but, but then people in the drive-through get impatient. It's crucial that the owner invests in the necessary repairs and improvements to ensure both the safety of the employees and the satisfaction of their customers. Their hardworking staff deserves better, and it's time for the owners to step up and...
Read moreTried to go through drive through and got there 30 min prior to closing hours. Was completely ignored and tried to give benefit of the doubt that maybe my vehicle didn't register as sitting there. I pulled up and drove past the window to see employees standing in there and proceeded to circle around to the drive through again. Was still ignored for that 5 min and gave up. I then called to ask for the general managers name and next scheduled time they would be in which was provided to me so I will be calling to inform them that employees are ignoring customers and preventing sales at least 30 minutes prior to close. 5 or 10 min I could see not anticipating any more sales and starting cleanup and breaking down machines ... but 30 minutes or more is too much. I don't get to skimp out on my job 30 min prior to punching out just because I don't feel like doing what I'm getting paid to do... its a job. There are hours of operation. Not a guideline of operating hours... this being said other times I've been here I usually get a tender basket and a malt.. both of which are decent for being fast food and I've never had a problem with staff members being directly rude to me. Yes some menu items are pricey but it's still better quality...
Read moreI ordered a number 1 and a chicken strip basket. My burger came with no bacon so I politely asked them to just give me bacon for the burger but she snatched my receipt and asked me for the old burger back so she could check. I provided the receipt and the burger promptly and the second burger they gave me only had bacon, onion, and mayo. None of the other toppings were present that usually come on the burger. So I went back up to the counter and asked if I could just get the rest of my toppings. She asked several other employees to get involved and one of theses employees proceeded to make a list of the toppings I wanted when I didn't want anything special just a normal number 1. These woman were being so rude and snappy and I did not once change my tone because I have worked in food service and I know sometimes there are bad days. No apology of inconvenience was offered. The woman practically shoved the third attempt at my burger into my hands and sighed after I watch it sit in the window for more than 2 minutes. I have never had service so bad at a dairy queen. Usually they are very polite and it is a place I frequent. I will no longer go to this location. You...
