Staff definetly need some SERIOUS retraining. They're rude and also just don't know what they're doing a lot of the last few times we've been in. Tonight they gave us original instead of spicy and the person CLAIMING to be management ARGUED with us and said it was spicy when you could clearly see it was the darker brown peppered original NOT the extra crispy light colored spicy. We've been regulars here and used to NEVER have problems but i would say around December is when we started having issues with staff. Its really sad to see how incompetent our teens and young adults really are now a days and how management just doesn't care anymore. Really think the owner needs to step in and step up and retrain if this is a franchised business. If not then the store manager needs to step up and take control and fix the staff and train everyone properly. And yes I've work fast food and customer service so i get its hard but stop making excuses when you're messing up all of the time. Its different if its once or twice here and there. In addition with business is violating the state law where they are charging a surcharge to a debit card which is clearly against the state law. In addition they are charging more than 1% which is also a violation of the law. In addition Lee's you have lost a customer that normally would stop weekly for food all because you decided to start charging a 1% fee for the use of the debit card. Maybe you should consider increasing your prices across the board to cover your credit card processing fees because you're the one that signed up for the company that's processing your credit cards and you have choices of which provider you can use but you wish to charge the consumer a 1% fee under debit cards which are illegal in this state. Read moreThe drive through is usually very fast. The food is hit or miss. The crispy chicken breast (also known as spicy) can be way over seasoned and too spicy. I guess it depends on how long they let the chicken marinade. Other times it's perfect. Love there corn on the cob but sometimes I get a cob that seems a bit undercooked. Although I think this is extremely rare, I think they served my KFC chicken one night. When I got to the drive through they said they were out of all chicken except chicken breasts. Perfect, since that is what I wanted. The chicken looked just like a small KFC crispy chicken breast and tasted just like KFC as well. Lee's and KFC are world apart in taste and there was no confusing the two. My guess is that they ran out of chicken so they made a run to the KFC a few stores away and bought a whole bunch. This way they could stay open and still sell the food and drink they did have available. Just a guess but I'm positive that was KFC. Update… went through drive thru and got kfc again.
