Meme's Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Granite City

We made a quick stop this morning for our first visit—and what a gem! The shop is absolutely adorable: clean, bright, and filled with a warm, welcoming vibe you truly have to experience for yourself. We were greeted by a friendly employee who promptly took our order: avocado toast, a cream cheese pastry, hot chocolate, and a warm salted caramel latte.

The coffee was spot-on, with a mild, smooth flavor. The hot chocolate was served at the perfect temperature. The avocado toast featured a generous spread topped with spices and fresh greens—simply delicious. And the buttery, sweet Danish was the perfect final bite to a delightful visit.

We’re so glad we stopped in on a whim. We’ll definitely be back!

This place has the best coffee in Granite City without a doubt! This is coming from someone who drinks it black and truly enjoys the taste of coffee. The way they roast or brew their coffee (not sure of their secret) makes my taste buds feel like they're doing happy dances. The espresso is so smooth and tasty. I tried out a muffin this morning and oh my goodness! It's been a minute since I've tasted something that delectable. I highly recommend this place over any chain or franchise. Why settle for ordinary when you can...

I absolutely love Meme's for breakfast or lunch. The homemade syrups for their coffees, teas and lemonades along with their coffee beans sets them apart in my opinion. My go to drinks are the Iced Brown Sugar latter with oat milk, plain black coffee or a blueberry lemonade. The drinks always taste delicious and never vary in flavor. The food menu for breakfast and lunch is quite delicious as well. I have tried just about everything and haven't found something I didn't like. Definitely recommend trying out this...
